Fantastic location. Could not be better. A couple of minutes to the castle and lots of attractions and restaurants in easy walking distance. Very well equipped for a long comfortable stay. The host allowed us to drop off our cases prior to official check in time.
As our stay was in the middle of August the city was extremely busy with the Tattoo and Fringe. This resulted in the bedroom that overlooks the steps being very noisy into the early ours and on one of our evenings a couple of people were enjoying a smoke of something quite wacky outside the window at 2.30 in the morning. This is just an observation and we would happily book the property again.

Fab apartment in the heart of the city. Location was amazing! Apartment itself was two storey & had everything you would need for your stay. Even though we didn't use the kitchen facilities it was very well equipped. Ivy our host was extremely responsive & very helpful. Spotless clean & very quiet at night time.

Nice two bedroom apartment excellent location near shops and pubs near castle meeting point for ghost tours
Being an old building and single pane windows you could hear people at night going down the alley at the side

The location was perfect for visiting the area.It was very clean and well stocked.It was perfect for us and exceeded what we expected.
The people in the apartment above played loud music,shouted inside and outside of the apartment and banged around on the floor(our ceiling) all night until 4.30am🤬 This did let the apartment down and we would not return.
