We had a generally okay stay at Festival Lets Apartment. The host was very courteous, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay. He even kindly provided earplugs in an attempt to help with the noise, which was a thoughtful gesture. Provided 1 day cleaning service free of charge. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and in an excellent central location, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Overall, the apartment is clean, centrally located, and hosted by a thoughtful and welcoming host. However, the stairs and the constant street noise would likely make us consider a different place for our next visit. كانت إقامتنا في شقة Festival Lets جيدة. كان المضيف في غاية اللطف والاحترام وسريع الاستجابة طوال فترة إقامتنا. كما أحضر لنا مشكورًا سدادات أذن في محاولة للتخفيف من الضوضاء، وكانت لفته لطيفة ومقدّرة. كانت الشقة نظيفة، مرتبة مع مطبخ وحمام واحد فقط، ومعتنى بها، كما أن موقعها ممتاز في قلب المدينة القديمة، مما يجعل الوصول إلى معظم المعالم سيرًا على الأقدام أمرًا سهلاً.

The main drawback was the access to the apartment. There are around 42 (steps) stairs and no lift, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down ourselves. For this reason, it may not be ideal for families with young children, elderly guests, or anyone with mobility issues, and it may also be less convenient for some families from the Gulf. The other main issue was the noise. Because the apartment is located on a busy street, and there are no soundproof windows, we could hear a lot of outside noise, including cars, people talking and laughing, and the nearby cathedral bells throughout the day and night. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a good night's sleep during our entire stay. Although the host kindly provided earplugs, they didn't make much difference for us. If you're a light sleeper or looking for a quiet place to rest, this apartment may not be the best choice. There is also no air conditioning, although this wasn't an issue during our stay because the weather was cold. أبرز سلبيات الإقامة كانت الوصول إلى الشقة. فهناك حوالي 42 درجة سلم ولا يوجد مصعد، واضطررنا إلى حمل حقائبنا الثقيلة صعودًا ونزولًا بأنفسنا. لذلك قد لا تكون الشقة مناسبة للعائلات التي لديها أطفال صغار، أو كبار السن، أو من لديهم صعوبة في الحركة، كما لن تكون ملاءمة للعائلات الخليجية. الملاحظة الأخرى كانت الضوضاء. نظرًا لوقوع الشقة على شارع حيوي، وعدم وجود نوافذ عازلة للصوت، كنا نسمع باستمرار أصوات السيارات، والمارة وهم يتحدثون ويضحكون، بالإضافة إلى أجراس الكاتدرائية القريبة، وذلك طوال الليل والنهار. وللأسف لم نتمكن من الحصول على نوم هادئ طوال فترة إقامتنا. ورغم أن المضيف أحضر لنا سدادات للأذن، إلا أنها لم تُحدث فرقًا يُذكر بالنسبة لنا. لذلك، إذا كنت من الأشخاص ذوي النوم الخفيف أو تبحث عن مكان هادئ للراحة، فقد لا تكون هذه الشقة الخيار الأنسب. كما لا يوجد مكيف، إلا أن ذلك لم يكن مشكلة أثناء إقامتنا بسبب برودة الطقس. ملاحظة بسيطة للمسافرين الذين قد يهمهم الأمر: لا يوجد شطاف في الحمام.

Location was great right on the royal mile. Apartment was spacious and with 3 double rooms had plenty of room. Facilities were great and made better by having a living room and kitchen. Bathroom was great too. Overall the apartment was a great base to explore the city and rest after a long day. Communication with owner was clear and concise. No issue during stay and would stay again. Highly recommend

Location was phenomenal (right on the Royal Mile) and apartment felt brand new even though the building is very old.

WiFi signal was pretty weak although it was a minor issue
