Good apartment located in a central yet quiet location

The location is fantastic! It is very central but surprisingly quiet. The bedrooms face a public stairway to the castle, open 24/7 but since we had the windows closed, we had no issue with noise. Bedrooms quiet dark though. The living room opens up to a green space. It was too cold to profit from the outdoor seating.

A bit dark and musty in the bedrooms. Couch had a lot of stains, could due with an upgrade or proper cleaning. Shower quite exposed so it was difficult for our family of four to have a bit of privacy

Prices during the fringe are outrageous. The bathroom is a little bit tired and small for a family of four. Get rid of the bath and install a bigger shower.

The access area to property needs sweeping. We were in town during Fringe festival and the immediate road next to property had overflowing trash bins, a bit smelly.

The terrace is super. The host should create canopy so that guests can enjoy it also when it rains

It was great.

The lounge with the big french doors was lovely and the outside balcony was an absolute treat as the weather was great. The location at Grassmarket was also really good due to the shops and dining.

We had to keep the blinds drawn in the bedrooms as tourists were constantly going up and down the steps on that side of the building which made the bedrooms dark and uninviting, but we understood why that was necessary. It did not affect our sleep as there were no tourists around at nights. It was just such a contrast having this spacious, light lounge and kitchen on one side then dark bedrooms on the other side. But, it did not spoil our stay, it's just a tiny point.

Cozy, well situated apartment in the heart of the old town

Lovely stocked flat in the heart of the Old Town that somehow manages to be quiet at night. It’s very nicely situated, clean, and cozy, and worked great for a baby (even a high chair!) and seven year old. There are only a couple of stairs outside the apartment and a nice connected private patio with lots of light into the living room. The people who met us in the beginning and as we left were kind and friendly as well. Water in the shower/bath was hot, which isn’t always a given in the location.

The WiFi didn’t work and we didn’t find a place close by until our last day where we could easily use it to have let the management know. In the end it made for a relaxing holiday weekend, and we could have tried harder to contact them, but it was the only real negative. There also wasn’t a freezer if that matters to someone.

Neat Apartment in the heart of GrassMarket. Property was sparkling clean, well equipped and as described, very well hidden and secure with its own gate, this made my partner feel very safe. We loved the proximity to the main attractions that we planned to visit during our stay. The view to the Edinburgh Castle from the garden was a plus combination of perfection staying. The agents were prompt for any help needed, simply great communication. Thank you and See you next time.

An enjoyable stay in the castle area

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh, a quick walk up the stairs takes you to the Edinburgh castle and the start of the Royal Mile walk. The shops, cafes and restaurants are just round the corner. A little noisy at night as so if you are a light sleeper, bring your earplugs. Overall lovely apartment and a bonus terrace too. Sacha and Louis were helpful, quick to respond and pleasant.

This was a great place to stay in order to visit the main sites in Edinburgh.

We loved the proximity to the main attractions that we planned to visit during our stay. We were also able to utilize the washing machine. The space was very spacious and comfortable.

The patio area was not as private as we would have liked.

Everything: from the apartment itself, to the location, to the view! Everything was as per the pictures, the person that greeted us was helpful and replied promptly everytime we needed him.

The flat was right on Grassmarket, central for everything. It was well appointed, clean and comfortable with a nice garden.

The Location was perfect and very central from all the attractions. The kitchen had everything that we possibly needed for cooking, felt like we were staying at our own home. Loved & enjoyed every moment staying in this property.

The location was good in the heart of the Grassmarket but very well hidden and secure with its own gate. This made my partner feel very safe, plus the small garden was a nice touch too.

The dishwasher leaked but this was on the morning of checkout so not a real issue.
