Okay, but should give more for cost

Quiet neighborhood

Everything felt in disrepair. Internal door handle to reception is loose. Toilet flush barely worked. Shower door missing a handle. Shower head damaged

A nightmare

Nothing.

The photos say everything: from the cockroaches to the ashtrays left full, from the dirty glasses at breakfast to the broken, cheap and overused furniture. I am extremely surprised Booking.com hosts this kind of places.

Centrally located, clean, comfortable and great value for money apartment in Modena

Loved the location and the spotlessly clean room (which was part of an apartment). Friendly proprietor who made the effort to meet me outside of the regular hours for check in. Great shower and comfy bed. Would stay here again in Modena without hesitation - great value for money.

the air conditioning was a bit variable so was a bit warm overnight - but otherwise prefect really

Air con not working

Good location but no free parking with the property.

Difficult place to find. Gloomy inside. Air con not working. Set at 17° but it was 27° . The system needed overhauling. Someone had complained on a previous written review but he still didn't do anything about it. He came to look at it but we proved it wasn't working and he didn't do anything about it. He said he would refund the money but it was 10.30 pm! Where would we go? We sweated all night in a room like a cupboard. Wouldn't stay again.

Great place to enjoy the vibe and nice life of Modena whilst being walkable to Ferrari museum too.

Great location on edge of pedestrian area but able to park for free nearby with permit given by owner. Loved the eclectic interior which was really characterful.

Air con is in the hallway so you need to leave the bedroom doors open at night to feel effect. This might annoy some people.

Good overnight in historic town

Great location. 15m walk to station. On edge of historic town. Lift to all floors and easy access. Upgrade to apartment so very spacious. Good aircon and quiet (Friday night music) Fabulous restaurant (Daisy Ristorante) 100m away Best dinner we’ve had in Italy in the 5 weeks

Pleasant stay in the center

It was very central and easy to reach.

We were assigned a small room instead of the suite we booked. When we told the host, he immediately gave us a big suite, though, which was fine.

Good choice for full apartment

Great full apartment, restaurant just next to the entrance. Its a family run business, very friendly staff. Language can be a bit of a barrier, nothing that a bit of google translator cant resolve. You can cook and save some money but would not advise to avoid the flavours of italy. Several options of bars and restaurantes near by. Attention coble stones streets can make carry a rolling luggage a bit of a suffering. Bus stops near by. Good air conditioning - needed in summer time. Colorfull walls. Great shower

Lovely place, but hot room

The owner was lovely and very hospitable. He let me drop my suitcase early and then check in early as well, when it clearly wasn't a convenient time for him, so I really appreciate that. The location was really handy to both the train station and the centre of town. There were some fun car design features to the room. Coffee machine was good.

The temperature of the room. Even with the air con on the lowest temperature it could go, and going for hours, the room thermostat didn't get below 25.5°C (and generally it was over 27). This meant sleeping was pretty difficult because it was just too hot for me.

This B&B was truly a one-of-a-kind experience! I stayed for one night and was absolutely charmed by the artistic atmosphere of the room. It was filled with books, artworks, and thoughtful little details everywhere you looked—like staying in a cozy artist’s studio. The small balcony was perfect for enjoying a quiet coffee in the morning, and the Lavazza coffee machine was a nice touch. The location couldn’t be better—right in the historical center of Modena, within walking distance of everything. Breakfast was served at a café housed in a beautiful historical building, adding even more charm to the stay. It was my first time staying in a room like this, and it exceeded all expectations. Everything was exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable, artistic, and local experience!

Good place

The B&B is located in a great place, close to the train station and with many shops and restaurants nearby. The room is huge! I had a lot of space for myself and that was cool. Staff were really kind. I was a very good stay.

I liked the room a lot but it would be great to change the pillows, bed sheets and towels just to give a cleaner look. I also found some moths, probably because of the old heavy curtains and old fabrics used. Nothing to worry about but just to help you get better :)

Overall the stay was comfortable

The location was very central close to major points of interest, restaurants and eateries of all types. Parking was provided though it is in a vehicle restricted zone. The washroom and kitchenette were refurbished and clean. The microwave., and coffee maker were welcome. Breakfast was sufficient

The room was filled with oversized furniture of a vintage and antique type but broken, more tacky than graceful. The room was gloomy and could do with better decor and cheer. Breakfast was just functional

A welcome to Old Town, Modena.

This is a good accommodation very central in Old Town, Modena. We were made welcome. We were thankful for the air conditioning. Very handy for local restaurants.

Because it is in the old town, it is awkward for parking although our host gave us a permit to park about 150 metres away. The bed was very close to one wall and too heavy to move.
