The hotel is a bit dated, could do with some English films on TV.

It’s not a good place to stay

The toilet wasn’t working, reported it to them and they said they forgot to repair it

The bathroom had no windows so when you use the toilet the smell stays in the bedroom

Not recommend for Business Trip

The location. It's near to the Railway station and very close to the city centre.

Almost everything. Rooms are small, specifically the bathrooms. The interior was very old, and the wall mirrors are dusty. No AC, I asked but denied by the staff. Reception don't used to receive calls from room. Breakfast was not good, not as per expectations.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in Italy. The hotel rooms need some refurbishment desperately.

Helpful staff once I informed them 1 of the bedrooms failed to have an AC unit as detailed on the booking AD. Breakfast restaurant was clean and tidy.

Rooms were dated & furniture was worn & from the 1970’s, the bed covers were worn, the paint needed help, the 2nd of our our 2 bedrooms was actually a converted hallway. This is not a 3 Star hotel, not even close. Maybe 1 1/2. The price was € 400 for 2 rooms. Not worth it, when on the previous day we spent the night in there center of Bologna for €500 with 2 separate rooms in a 4 star. 1 bedroom didn’t have an AC and the other didn’t have a TV. Bathrooms were also very bad.

Review is skewed since I didn't stay at Hotel Europa

I didn't stay at Hotel Europa - I booked but there was surprise maintenence to be done at the hotel so they shuttered it. They did book us in a hotel not far at the same rate & specifications as I booked (the Hotel Principe). It was appreciated.

Okay, other options nearby are a better choice

Staff was nice and communicated before the trip arrival well and answered all our questions

Terrible wifi, other similar options were cheaper, but this one did not really seem worth the higher price as surrounding hotels.

the location for central Modena is perfect, there is parking on the street & the Europa has its own car park is needed.

my room was clean & the bed was comfortable, but I would say the room was a bit dated & a bit cold
