The breakfast was very simple. There was a great bakery just down the road and we felt we should have eaten there instead. Everything else was great though.

Good location, Basic Hotel

Good location close to main bus routes and good walking distance to the town center. There are some very good restaurants, gelateria, and bakery a few minutes walk from hotel.

A soap dish in the shower would be nice, along with nicer soap, and the toilet water in the toilet bowl flushed from the front, leaving a large turd in the back of the bowl that was not being flushed because of the location of the flushing water. Very strange to have a toilet that flushes from the front, and this stank up the room.

Close to town and an easy walk to get around. Good size room and bathroom that has been updated. Helpful staff with sights to see and restaurants to eat.

Nothing. Maybe the location.

Nothing was to my liking. For such money I stayed in hotels in European cities where it was pleasant to sleep, with fresh air and air conditioning, breakfast in the morning and a clean and well-maintained rooms. Here I felt like in a crime movie from the 70s, where the bidet was in the shower, the smell of cigarettes in the room (when a sign "no smoking" in the room) and not even a kettle to drink coffee or tea.

The room was very large. The staff ( husband /wife) were lovely and did all they could to make us comfortable . They were also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area for adventures or dining, etc. the free parking was was a bonus. We never would have stayed other and the N K op guy.

The beds are like sleeping on a foam bed. The a/ c was not the best th ugh

Good location only 10 minute walk to main centre. was a last minute booking as first one was an awful place that shouldn't be on booking (euro house). Gave us great information to get around town.

I think it is a very nice value accommodation, with good location, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby( I would definitely recommend Pepperonico) and you could reach the city center with a short walk.

I loved the price point, location, and parking.

Look at this building, it’s beautiful. It has high ceilings, it’s clean, and it has an Italy in the 70s vibe. Breakfast is reasonable and optional - no pressure! The bar has drinks, the walk to town is short. It has parking. Modena is a great jumping off point and not too crowded!!

My primary concern is cleanliness and it is clean! Is it a bit dated? Yes! But hot water, clean, nice breakfast!

This hotel is a real gem! We had a beautiful clean modern room with a lovely traditional old balcony with city views. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we even got to check in 2 hours earlier. Perfect location with only a short walk into town centre but restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast was very good and set you up for the day Private shaded parking too. Been travelling through France and Italy for 2 weeks and this little hotel was my favourite.

Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room but otherwise nothing !

We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and even order a taxi for us.

It was a reasonable walk to the center of town and the open cafes for dining. Our room had a newly remodeled bathroom, which was very nice.

The breakfast was $7.50 and seemed a little high for what was served.

Great location in a wonderful part of Modena which is a short walk to the city center. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking is also available. Lovely staff and nice and clean. I would stay again.

The hotel is dated and needs renovating but it's perfect for a few days and is very good value for money.
