Good selection of breakfast food but not always fresh.

Staff attitude. Girls at front counter very surly. No internet connection in rooms (3rd floor). Wrong room according to booking and change over done without us being there with personal belongings left in original room safe. No tv remote in new room. Air con control from front desk not good for personal health issues. Broken lift with maintenance man not even bothering to acknowledge anyone.

The breakfast was very diverse and a lot of nice stuff to eat. And the location is quite good, 15min from center. That is it for the good part.

We were disturbed by the stuff 2 times in the room (janitor I think one time wanted to go to the room and only spoke in Italy, but didn't let him in), also one time the cleaning lady came without knocking first. One time at peak hour, no plates where available at breakfast and also coffee machine broke and they didn't have stuff to repair it. Part of the bathroom and room looks old, unmaintained.

There wasn't much to like during my stay, except for the complimentary bottles of water and the in-room refrigerator, which wasn't listed in the amenities.

Where to start. The weather was hot and knowing this we made sure to book a hotel with Air Conditioning. Unfortunately, the A/C in my room would not start. I asked the housekeeper who said to contact the front desk. The front desk advised that it is controlled by the main property, which had not chosen to start the Air conditioning. The Staff seemed indifferent and could not even offer a fan, when I asked if there was anything they could do. With no A/C, the room was hot, which meant a cold shower before bed and sleeping with the windows open to get any chance of cool air. Sleeping with the windows open was the only way to keep from sweating in my sleep but meant that the room was loud. Loud including people sitting outside their cars with their music blaring and talking loudly at all hours of the night. Loud with trucks/loud cars rolling down the street intending to alert everyone of their presence. Loud with a goose which started honking around 5 am. The staff also didn't care when I told them the vending machines directly in front of them didn't drop my product. I was able to shake it loose, but they were of no help and expressed no concern. The cleaning staff seemed friendly, but we had to wait for 15 minutes with key in hand after arriving, as they were still cleaning the room. Despite this, there was still a hair on the toilet. The hotel is also a 10-15 minute walk to the areas of interest, through a neighborhood with no charm or appeal. This was the least of my concerns though, considering the heat. I've lived in Italy for the last year and have never had such bad experience with hospitality staff.

Renovated hotel, amazing breakfast, great value for money

Rooms are very basic. Clean. Lots of breakfast options. Parking included and close enough to walk to the city center, where there are lots of parking restrictions.

A little noisy from a large school group running through halls and stairs.

Great breakfast. Easy parking outside door.

Beds small and not so comfy. 20 minutes walk (slow) to centre.

Breakfast was rich, there were vegan options too Location is ideal for those who drive to Modena as there's a free parking

- Pillows and towels were stained - The bathroom was not comfortable (for example there was no drawer or anything where to hang towels) and there were plastic glasses -The receptionist who welcomed us wasn't very welcoming. He also wasn't prepared when I asked him about the possibility to get vegan options for breakfast. He said they had a huge variety of fruit while instead the buffet was plenty of vegan desserts and only 2 types of fruit - The room was cold when we got in as the heating was off. There was no duvet on the bed but only a thin wool blanket

the Breakfast must be pointed out. One of the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had.

Rooms looks old. In the common area in the reception, the sofas are so dirty

leaving. The breakfast was ok and plentiful. the bed was comfy.

there was no hot water to wash or shower...I had been travelling from greece to the uk and after being on 2 ferries, driving for 1000 miles, the very least I expect is a shower and comfy bed, plus the restaurant has an extremely non existent menu...so you have no choice but to try and find a restaurant.....the staff do not speak English....this hotel is all talk but no action.....never again. The shower is tiny, no room to move and the actual hotel room needs a huge upgrade, decor wise and there needs to be coffee and tea facilities as well as fridge in the rooms, not enough electric sockets to use.....never again

The breakfast was fantastic.....pity it was physically impossible to try everything. The staff were helpful and friendly, despite the size and type of hotel. The room was good and and the bed comfortable.

The hallways, passages and lifts were a little drab and shabby...

we didn’t get hot water so we showered with cold water, the night buffet looked disgusting so we had to walk a couple blocks to go eat at a restaurant, there weren’t any areas nearby, just one pizzería. (which was great).
