I will come back and indicate this place to friends. It is an hostel, so a simple structure, but it has all you need while travelling. And it is in the center of Modena: in 5 minutes you can walk everywhere. The interior of the building is to be seen: nice murals are everywhere. The staff is really welcoming.

Room really uncomfortable, Room smelled Like smokers Room, private bathroom was in Reality a private cabin in a Shared bathroom.

Poor

Practical to be close to the train station and just a short walk away from the centre. Staff stored our luggages when we went walking around.

We had seen the pictures online and didn't expect much but our room was like a corridor with two beds. It had such a horrible hospital smell in it. The "private bathroom" isn't a private bathroom in reality. Just a big bathroom divided in many compartiments that you can lock except that you can hear everything around so no intimacy at all. The common areas were so unwelcoming that we didn't use them. And the people staying at the hostel seemed very dodgy. We went to another hostel right after that was 10 euros more and absolutely breathtaking and had a pool. My advice, stay in Bologna and visit Modena for the afternoon.

Great for the price, would stay again

Great location, comfy and spacious rooms (very good price), clean, towels and shower gel etc included

It a good location - pretty much a 10 minute walking distance to everything

There was no vibe and extremely hard to meet people. There was no aircon and although there was a fan per bed it didn’t really do anything in the heatwave

Great short stay to explore Modena

The possibility to store my backpack before the check-in and after the check-out. The dorm of 3 single beds with individual big waredrobe with key to store my belongings. Individual bathroom for each room. The well equipped kitchen. The close location to the train station.

The decoration of the dining area/commun space: Cold colours, basic furniture and neon light.

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel so much that I’ll be back next month!

The hostel is located in the center of Modena. Everywhere is close. The staff is very nice, willing to provide information and helpful. I was able to have a coffee at the reception desk every morning. The room and bathroom were always clean. I liked the common spaces very much, the paintings on the walls, sofas, books ... I have very fond memories of my whole stay.

Initially I was planning on staying in Bologna, but got priced out and came to Modena instead. It turned out to be great

It was a great value for the price! Hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful !!! The room was spacious, the bathroom and shower were clean, a little library near elevator was a nice touch

Nice atmosphere and very clean hostel!

Everything was very clean (the room, the common spaces and the toilet), the staff was warm and helpful, we were equipped with all the facilities. It was a good quality-price deal for the location in Modena historical centre!

Wonderful place to stay while traveling.

The ambience, independence and facilities were brilliant! It was a lovely stay there. I especially liked the kitchen and the art work all around.

Disappointing

Location close to train station

My room smelled really bad, I tried to keep the window open but after 5 minutes in the room my eyes started watering. I’m not usually sensitive to mold and I have never reacted before. I went to the reception to ask if I could change my room, and they said the hostel is full and asked if I could use eyedrops for my eyes. I said I can’t stay in the room and I booked a hotel. Then another person came to me and told that they actually do have another bed available for me. This person was friendly and helpful. I was able to cancel my hotel. The new room I got was ok, didn’t smell and I didn’t have a reaction there. Edit: they called me and asked why I gave a bad review if they fixed the problem. It’s because I wouldn’t go there again if I would end up in the same room. Also the first person I talked to wasn’t very helpful.

Great location and very welcoming staff.

Fantastic staff, really helpful friendly and had lots of good recommendations. Good value private room with private bathroom. Felt secure. Parking available on street. Really good location for walking into town.

Quite noisy in the morning, could use ear plugs. There was just one small fan for the room so it was very hot.
