2nd time stay, Love the Lodgings and It's Location but Noisier This Time

Central location, superbly situated for M&S supermarket across the road, brilliant Polly's cafe on the corner, Saturday market and many fine restaurants and pubs

Lot of noise on two evenings from a take-away restaurant next door (Manny's), men shouting aggressively outside, rubbish in the shared alley; dirty plates left in cupboard by previous occupants

Great little place

I booked this for my son's partner for her birthday, they said it was comfy and in a perfect spot. They want to go again. Its one of the first times the property actually looked just like the photos on the app.

Property was central to everything. Comfortable bed. Nice and clean. Great to have tea, coffee and sugar on arrival

Stairs could do with a rail. Bedside units were glued shut so less storage.

Excellent location, and well equipped lodgings for visiting the area.

Excellent location - step out of the door and you are in the hustle and bustle of Beverley, which is a beautiful, historic town. Well organised, with door code being sent day before arrival - good communications from host.

Parking was a challenge, but we were aware of that ahead of booking, so knew what to expect from other guest reviews. Don't try it with a big vehicle! A couple of milk jiggers would have been welcome, but as Tesco is less than ten minutes away...

Lovely small apartment with fully equipped kitchen and shops, bars, resteraunts very close by. Parking for small car. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Not enough space for essentials in the bedroom as no usable drawers. Steep steps but manageable.

Lovely little flat. Awesome comfy bed!

No hand rail on steep staircase and smell coming from bathroom, smelt like drains. Also needs to be a lock on the inside of the external door. Cleaner & owner can walk in whenever they like, with only a digital code to get in and no way ti lock from the inside.

Loved our stay in the Lodgings, Beverley

Enjoyed our stay very much, the decors modern and lovely, and it’s spotless. Absolutely everthing we needed in the kitchen, good toaster, microwave/grill, cooking rings, also provide tea/coffee/sugar. Lovely bedroom, and comfortable bed. Tv in the kitchen, where there’s a lovely little table and comfortable small settee, and tv in the bedroom. Good sized shower. The property is as central as it could be.

Tight parking, but managed ok and steep staircase, but some things cannot be helped, no draws in the bedroom but plenty hanging space, would definitely stay again, though I am sure it’s very popular.

At 1m50cm, I found the kitchen tops high and the cutlery in the cupboards only just accessible! Locked windows, so I felt a bit stuffy at night. Minor niggles that would not put off a repeat stay.

Great centre of town location so easy walking to everywhere. comfortable bed.

Parking very tight and very steep stairs into property. much better if you came by public transport. Also accommodation very compact so wouldn’t be great for a long stay but fine for a couple of nights

really cute property! small but they have made great use of the space. Extremely clean and modern. location is great - we had a night out in beverly and it was 3 minutes away from a fabulous wine and cocktail bar - the next day we went to the race - again super location for it! we will defo be back! oh and the pizza from next door is the best we’ve ever had!

Really enjoyed our stay and I would stay there again the next time we go to Beverley.

Very small but the location was perfect. Pollys café across the street is fantastic if you don’t want to cook, they also do takeout. Parking is a bit tight but I would recommend this place.

The sofa in the kitchen wasn’t comfortable, but as we ate out it wasn’t a problem.

Hidden Gem

Everything! Perfect location, private parking. Everything supplied, even tea & coffee! Instructions for everything (hob etc) in cupboard. Small, but quirky, but the kitchen/diner makes up for that. Very central location but tucked away on a quiet little street. Doorway under the archway, so private.

Parking place was a bit tight due to narrow road, but ok once in. Staircase might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

OK for a short stay, but it's hard to appreciate how small 206 sq ft is until you get there.

The location was fine for our short stay needs.

The archway parking would be impossible for anything bigger than a medium-sized vehicle (we stopped using it due to the risk of damage). The church bells rang every 15 minutes all through the night. The fridge was very noisy - sounded like a washing machine spinning! The property isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues - stairs narrow and quite steep.

Great location , perfectly formed but missing milk to go with the tea & coffee . Only one wine glass . Bed & bedding were fantastic . No hand soap at all but lovely mini shampoo & conditioner.

Smaller than we thought ,but worked out great .just missing dotting the i's and crossing the t's to make it outstanding .
