Great positioned cottage

Really liked the location, spacious downstairs and parking facility. Cosy and warm.

Poor shower and tired bathroom. Patches on the walls needed painting. Noisy sprung bed bases. The sofa had an unpleasant smell.

Could not access property Had no response from owners or booking.com to help us get in Had to payout again to stay somewhere else My friend Mr R Flint has spent £100’£ with you So very disappointed and upset over this We are both in our seventies and in the freezing weather spent a long time outside(property has CCT) so should be able to verify this

OK for a one night stay in fairly central Beverley

Location

Cobwebs, broken kitchen utensils, old pans, faulty washing machine, broken glasses, faulty shower screen, damaged paintwork particularly on the walls in the lounge. We were there for a week over Christmas and everywhere else we stayed had made an effort to decorate with trees and lights. This was particularly disappointing.

Lovely location but property lacking in many issues

Good parking Location

Downstairs bathroom, not explained in Booking description. Very inconvenient and should have been explained clearly Beds uncomfortable with noisy springs Boiler in bedroom cupboard and extremely noisy when starts and runs TV is in need of changing. Sound and picture breaking up.

Lovely end of terrace house with an excellent location. Just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Beverley. On the same road as the train station but very quiet. Great little drive way that can fit 2 cars if you leave the gates open. Very clean and cosy. Also loved the decor

Stairs were incredibly steep and narrow, we were all scared of falling down them. Bathroom down stairs which was annoying during the night. Outside areas need attention ( very over grown with Ivy) and the driveway gates need replacing. Badly rotten and nightmare to lock as one had dropped, needed two of us to lift it. 1 toilet roll for 5 people so we had to go and buy some. Plug removed from kitchen sink and no cloth to wipe surfaces Beds in both rooms not very comfortable as mattresses very soft and beds creaked everytime you moved. Also the smaller bedroom has the boiler in it so my parents were woken up early by the noise. Back door lock needs replacing. As the other reviews say this property needs some TLC.

Place is lovely apart from boiler got no sleep

The property it's really nice everything you could wish for facilities were very good ,it's very clean easy to find and close to town centre

The thing that let it down is the boiler clicking on and off all night we didn't get any sleep

Nice house, but it needs a bit of TLC.

Home is nicely decorated and very close to all amenities, town centre and railway station. Parking onsite (although not without issue with the gate). It was very clean and had lovely towels and shower gel etc, to use. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances and plenty of plates and glasses. As it was very hot in the rooms, we were very grateful for the fans.

As mentioned in other people's reviews, the front door has a locking issue and the gate needs attention/ replacing. The plug had been taken off the bath and the shower was a bit more of a trickle but manageable. If the bit of TLC this house needs (maybe a days work) it would be perfect.

OK for one night

Location was good

Gate difficult to open, one of us had to hold it open as the holes in the floor for the bolts to hold gate wasn't enough. Gates difficult to open and close as sprained and old. Beds really uncomfortable, back room really warm & so noisy with the boiler sparking up every few minutes even though heating wasn't on. Shower scalding even when on low. The location & price was good, but the property needed TLC and and a deep clean.

Lock on front door impossible to lock Gates need replacing as could not get them lined up with holes in the ground so bolt on and padlock on Unable to park 2 cars down the side of the house and close the gates and no parking on the road due to permit only parking - we left gates open though . Front door lock needs replacing and gates too need replacing

Nice stay in Beverley and a lovely location

Clean and tidy. Nice kitchen area with quality fittings and utilities. Bed was comfy and we slept well. Liked the privacy of the little back courtyard.

The lock on the front door was really difficult to open. Took some negotiating before we could open it. Not great as it was raining heavily so soaked before we got inside. Also the back door lock seemed very flimsy. Maybe it would be worth changing them. Front of house looked like it needed a bit of tidying up and refreshing.

Great location/everything you need just tired/tatty decoration and difficult gates/locks let it do

Location, location, location - great for bars/restaurants but quiet at night. Private/secure parking

Not as clean as it could have been (spidersold cobwebs and dust) as told cleaners had just been in. Decoration, tired/ tatty around the edges which spoils overall feel. Gates to parking - very awkward and ‘rickety’ with difficult padlock that has button you need to push. All locks difficult and back door not very secure.

Great location near the centre of Beverley- with off road parking

Great location- and excellent to have the off road parking within lockable gates. (Perfect for my Motorbike). The house had all the amenities we required and was very clean- especially the kitchen and bathroom

The gates to the parking area need attention- we found them awkward to open and close, and we also found the beds to be uncomfortable

Location was great and parking a bonus. The property was clean and very nicely decorated.

Bathroom was downstairs. The stairs were very steep. Gates to parking area were tricky to unlock and open. Lock on front door needs attention as key wouldn't lock or open properly from outside.

Third time we have stayed here.

Great location. Very clean. Lovely kitchen. Well equipped

Had difficulty with lock on front door. Outside rubbish and recycling bins need defining which is which. Rules say no visitors. Purpose of our stay was to visit family, we are very quiet and don’t have rowdy guests so that was not a good rule for us.

Not bad but needs a little care and a few little upgrades.

The location was great very close to all amenities. The drive way was secure.

The front door was awkward to unlock. The back door handle fell off and i was'nt that happy that it was not as secure as i would like. It needs a new back solid door.The drive gates need sorting out. There was glass across the driveway which we ran over thank fully not puncturing our tyres. Me and one of the neighbours cleaned this all up.

A great property for visiting the lovely town of Beverley.

We thought the house were great with all we could wish for. The location was ideal and it was very quiet. The only issue was the stairs which were particularly dangerous for one of our group who therefore had to sleep downstairs. We realise this is no fault of the owners who had gone out of their way to make the house welcoming, but strongly feel that anyone advertising the property should bring this to the attention of those who have young children or mobility issues.

The doors to access parking space were hard to open and close. The stairs were steep and the only bathroom being downstairs care needed when getting up in the night . Outside space needs tidying up , overgrown plants and weeds

Lovely house ..no good for taller people ..stairs are typically very narrow and a banged head here and there

Parking only for one car !!! ..there is a public carpark at Tescos but i personally wouldnt leave my car there our car was damaged by the gates as 2 seperate family members stayed and both needed their cars for mobilty problems ...the bolts do not lock into the floor holes and were shook free by the wind and banged against both sides of the car ..we werent to know that we werent to leave the gates opened and 2 cars parked on the drive

Great immaculate home.

The house was so comfy and immaculate, exactly as the pictures show. It had all you would want from a home. The host Ela even brought us a brand new iron and ironing board in as I'd asked about it before arrival. Great at answering questions and keeping in touch. It was a 5min walk into Beverley town and market. Lovely quiet street, secure parking, nice little courtyard which was very appreciated as it has been gorgeous weather there this weekend we even had a friendly neighbour who was happy to give us directions. Would definitly be in touch to stay again next time we are there visiting family. Thank you Ela!

A lovely home, nice area with parking

The host gave me lots of help for getting to and into the property. The home was clean and had all the things needed for a comfortable stay and the location is perfect, just 5 mins from the train station
