Place not clean . Pots and pans just left on sink not put away . little bins inside smelt bad had to put outside green bin outside over flowing and smelt bad nobody put it out for dustbin men cigarette stubs on floor out side nobody had given the place a good clean.apart from that it was ok .We didn't come on holiday to clean up other people's mess

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Beverly. Although you hear no noise from the town. Nice little apartment with all amenities. If I did have to complain, the bed squeaked and the shower wasn’t very powerful. We would have liked normal tv. If my parents were using this apartment they wouldn’t have had a clue how to use the tv. That said these things didn’t tarnish our stay and would happily return

Location is excellent for Beverley town centre.

Very creaky bed and temperature very warm upstairs. Think this might be because the thermostat is downstairs and the draft coming from the main door ( not the patio doors used to enter) is enormous. Inevitably it's colder downstairs and very very warm upstairs.

Very clean. Easily accessible. Parking great. Perfect hideaway and very quiet even being in the centre of town

Downstairs considerably colder than upstairs. Oven not easy to operate. Pillows on bed have no ‘life’ left in them.

Couldn't get freeview on tv and there was no dab signal for our own digital radio- had to listen to radio on a phone

Excellent central location with parking. Very clean and warm. 2nd time I have stayed here and would definitely stay again.

Location was very good. Private and quiet mews. Parking convenient. Access to property was straightforward. Lovely bathroom. Great shower. Well equipped throughout. The garden outside the property was attractive and well maintained. Lovely comfy sofa.

The kitchen and some of the crockery, glasses and cutlery were not very clean. The cutlery drawers were not clean. I washed items before using them. The bed was rather narrow and not very comfortable. One of the kitchen cupboard doors was badly damaged with the laminated surface hanging off. Did not make a good impression.

NO INSTRUCTIONS for TV and heating . BROKEN KITCHEN CUPBOARD DOOR. BURN mark on landing carpet. Would not call the outside area a garden, more like a patio seating area.

A disaster right from the beginning! i was given the wrong code for the lockbox so had to call them, which turned out to be a call-centre of sorts not the hosts. They contacted the owner and got a new code for a second lockbox but it was horrible stood out on the street for 40 minutes trying to get in, thank goodness it wasn’t raining and thank goodness for the sweet, patient, helpful Filipino lady at the call-centre. I found the TV not to be working so again phoned the call-centre, they have a Seiki TV system which the hosts have to activate remotely! I’m not from the UK so had no idea how this worked, finally figured it out but the App options were rubbish, a message popped up saying the system will de-activate when you leave at 11am check out, however i put the TV to watch the news before i left and at 10.15am and it had already de-activated! The house in general is quite cold, especially the bedroom which was quite dusty, also the wooden window blinds don’t shut fully so you’re woken up by the light early morning!! All the wine glasses in the cupboard were quite dusty and 1 glass had dried lipstick stains around the rim! The waste bins outside have not been emptied for a while it looks like and they were lots of flies in the bin and around the small courtyard. On departure i was sent a code for the lockbox to leave the keys, but yet again the code did not work. So again i phoned the call-centre. A nice neighbour tried to help me, our fingers were sore trying the various codes we were given but none worked! A nightmare and so stressful as i had ordered a taxi and had a deadline to catch a train. In the end i had to hide the keys at the property but then sent photos and instructions of their whereabouts to the call-centre. What a waste of my time!

The property is in a central yet quiet location so within easy reach of all tourist attractions.

The code for the lock box failed to open it. Had to contact booking.com to get a code for the secondary lockbox.

The house was very dirty…oven,microwave,carpets,shower and screen,there was a thick layer of dust under the bed,(photos taken) skirting boards..and one of the kitchen wall cabinets was smashed on the outside.(again,photos taken)…We spent 1hr cleaning and dusting the place for our stay of 2 nights,..We are very disappointed,and will not be returning again.

Told it was ground floor-it wasn't. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs, very challenging as I have mobility difficulties Car parked in the allocated space when we arrived No instructions for appliances or TV Weird TV. No normal channels, apparently we were supposed to use some kind of online account. Never heard of any of them. Found BBC1 but frankly not worth the hassle. Oven was dirty. The only baking sheet was disgusting, covered in burnt on grease. Had to buy non stick foil to make it useable. Told there was a cafetiere for coffee-there wasn't. Had to buy coffee bags, ground coffee we bought won't be used so wasted money No safety mat for showering in bath Very dirty radiator in kitchen Cracked cupboard door Slatted blinds in bedroom useless for keeping room dark. Woke at 4am each day when it was light. Bedroom needs blackout blinds No drawers in bedrooom Mirror for using hairdryer on opposite side of room from sockets so had to trail extension lead across the bedroom floor Huge bedroom but small bed. There was room for a superkingsize bed or two singles.

Modern, cosy, clean and, although very central, it was in a very quiet location. The private parking was an absolute bonus.

Great location with parking space Lovely little house, especially liked the bedroom. Small but well thought out. Good coat hooks and shoe area by door. Great tea bags!

It took us a while to suss the heating. Felt a bit cold the first night so turned thermostat up but there doesn’t seem to be a timer so we ended up with heating on all night and it was too hot. No problems after that. Also struggled with TVs. Couldn’t work out how to watch regular channels but that’s probably because we are old and not tech savvy!

Cleanliness could have been improved ever so slightly, the TV only seemed to work with Roku and apps rather than generic Freeview channels

it was really cold when we arrived, completely understand there’s a cost of living crisis but the thermostat said 10 degrees when we arrived

Location was good and free parking

Was really cold downstairs as no heating on arrival. Took all night for the property to warm up as there were draughts coming through the patio doors and front door, no curtains or draught excluder to prevent this.

couldn’t control heating too hot upstairs very cold downstairs no thermostat control upstairs to heating down with heating and additional heater on downstairs was still too cold also seating area uncomfortable also no terrestrial TV which we think is ridiculous in this day and age also WiFi poor

From booking the communication from the hosts was excellent. Easy to find property with parking available and clearly marked. Parking space a little tight. Key safe easy to use. Although the pictures and description seemed to imply that the apartment is a ground floor flat, in fact it is a one-bedroom house with bedroom and bathroom on first floor. Comfortable and well furnished. Generous supplies of tea, coffee, and UHT milk sachets. Sufficient crockery, glasses and cutlery. Good pans. On the whole apartment was very clean apart from large amount of dust under the sofa and dust and spider web on the top of the shower fitting. Clean towels but could have benefited from softener. Bed comfortable, on the soft side for me but that is a matter of preference.

Having to climb stairs to bathroom and bedroom as I have mobility problem. No spatula so difficult to prepare my cooked breakfast. No oven working so impossible to prepare any food that requires baking or grilling. Microwaved ready meal had to do. There are restaurants very near but we prefer to prepare our own food which is main reason we choose holiday homes.
