Excellent location, very close to the railway station and town centre. Comfortable warm cottage, will certainly book again.
Shower tap a little stiff. Stairs quite steep - though that's the way they are in all cottages like this. Hold on tight to the banister, you'll be fine.

The house is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Parking is easy and convenient using George Street Car Park which is just a few steps from the front door. The location for Beverley town centre is excellent.

Great location. Really central to everything. Just a couple of streets away from the Train station, the bus station and the superb high street. The cottage is deceptively spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lot of storage space in the whole property. The downstairs walk-in shower is powerful and done to a high standard. The bathroom on the first floor is roomy with a good bath. The Wi-Fi is strong and the Tv works fine apart from the terrestrial channels. There’s plenty of on street parking in the streets around the cottage but it’s essential to get the parking permit before arrival as the traffic wardens are vigilant! Any queries are responded to straightaway by the host. The cottage seems to be ideal for two adults and two children. There’s even a play station. We can’t comment on whether it’s working as we didn’t use it. I would recommend this property for physically able people and we may even return with the grandchildren.
There’s not really much to improve in the property. I would however point out that young children would need to be very capable in using stairs as the staircase is steep and the treads are shallow.

Perfect location for station, shops, cinema, heritage. Cottage is warm and welcoming and has everything you need. It’s a lovely quiet street yet centrally located
There isn’t anything I don’t like! There are some little challenges e.g it’s easy to accidentally bump into the glass shower screen in the downstairs shower room. There is a drawer in the kitchen that dislodges when you open it. Just little things. But the accommodation is great!

Very comfortable and clean. Everything you needed was there including items such as tea sugar coffee condiments etc. furniture and bed looked new. Great to have a parking permit too from the owner.
Could perhaps do with new carpets and some TLC in the quaint little garden which also had furniture and BBQ

Second stay here. cosy, clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. Great location three minutes walk from the centre, right next to a car park. good communication with owner.
Would recomend for a couple or family. second bedroom has bunk beds. need to walk through this to get to upstairs bathroom.
Not big issues but walls between next door properties very thin, so if you happen to have noisy guests there you cant help but hear them. stairs very steep so just take care if you have had a sherbet or two!

This is the perfect location to access and enjoy everything in the centre of Beautiful Beverley. Ideal for those arriving by train and free on street parking too. Situated within a classic Beverley terrace with distinctive brick work and pan tiled roof. The house has everything you need for four people and boasts separate dining and living area and lovely seated area with BBQ in the back yard. Lovers of Beverley will enjoy hearing the distinctive sound of the Bells of the Beverley Minster nearby! Fancy a drink? The Monks Walk and The White Horse ( aka ‘Nellies’ ) are within easy walking distance and offer something iconic and special. The house is handy for everything really, all kinds of great shops including Tescos and M&S Simply food if you want to eat in. There is a well equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom upstairs with separate shower room with toilet downstairs. The proprietor is really helpful if you need to contact him and organised a virtual parking permit for us which was fantastic.
The plumbing made a funny noise however you get used to it and there was plenty of hot water which was super. It was a shame there wasn’t space for two single beds or a double rather than bunk beds in one of the bedrooms but on the plus side it does enable 4 people rather than 3 to stay and I’m sure it would suit many families very well.

Very steep stairs - nothing anyone can do about this but it made me feel nervous. It just made the house difficult for me.

Quiet but central location.
Efficient washing machine.
Extensive cooking options (but we ate out!).
Well-equipped for leisure activities - books, games, TVs.
Very nice neighbours.
The code given for the key safe was incorrect. Phoning the owner was tricky - the telephone number given was 'not found'. I got through on the fourth attempt.
Steep stairs.
Noisy water pipes.

Great location within minutes walk of the centre with nice pubs and other eating places. Cottage very warm and cosy with radiators and gas fires, clean and nicely furnished. Nice little courtyard garden. Kitchen well equipped and basic grocery items provided, milk, tea, coffee, salt pepper etc. Good communication with owner. Parking permit set up by him on request and the public car park directly opposite, free from 6.00pm until 8.00am, was useful when the spaces outside were full. (You need to set up an app to pay for parking outside those hours though).
Very steep stairs, (because of age and character of the property), might be tricky for elderly or in the dark.
Minor annoyance was that we had to walk through the bunk bedded room to get to the upstairs bathroom, (which was nice and spacious), so had to use the downstairs loo in the night to avoid disturbing daughter. Very thin walls between it and the neighbours, (also a rental property), so we could hear them having fun in the evening, as no doubt they could us! Overall though the positives more than made up for these.

Great location, free car parking, warm, new shower room
Stairs are a bit steep for some, limited facilities in the kitchen - no sugar/sweetener/oil etc

The cottage was really clean, plenty of facilities very central for the town Very comfortable beds Nice little seating area outside where you could sit with a cuppa in the morning
A four foot bed would have been better than the bunk beds in the back room as the main bathroom was in that room The stairs were very steep not a lot of toilet paper so had to go out and buy this .No fault of Johns but next door had a load of screaming girls and very foul mouthed men and banging music blaring till the early hours which was very annoying .This started at 7pm and we went out for a couple of hours and when we returned it was even worse with girls running across to the car park and fetching even more people
