Perfect compact snug for short stay

The location of this bijoux snug was perfect for a short walk into the town centre. The accommodation, although small, was very comfortable for an overnight stay, very clean and warm, and included thoughtful touches (welcome pack, toiletries, shoe rack etc). Parking on the street was easy, and permit efficiently arranged by owners who were very responsive to our small queries.

Perhaps the compact snug-like accommodation is a bit small for longer stays?.Perfect for us though, on this occasion. A door mat would be a useful addition since it was raining a lot and we didn’t want to dirty the very clean floors!

Brilliant.

A super-cute property! Small but absolutely ingeniously designed and extremely well-equipped. I thought they must have had a professional designer but apparently the owner designed it himself. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Messages were responded to promptly and attentively. We felt that they owners genuinely wanted us to have a lovely time! There was a welcome basket containing milk, cereals, wine, etc. The bed was lovely and comfy. The location is literally a 3 minute walk from the town centre. The owners put our car on the digital residents parking list so we could park anywhere in Beverley without paying, and they even extended it by a day for us. We felt very well looked after.

Any minor problems we had were addressed by the owners. The only suggestion for improvement we could make is that a little more information about the facilities would have beeen helpful. For example, the property makes such good use of every nook and cranny that we couldn't initially find the cutlery drawer! And we didn't realise until the day we left that there was a washing machine! So perhaps the owners could put a bit more info in the welcome folder about all the facilities.

Small space, perfectly organised

We were arriving on bikes so Rob gave us his contact details and he was with us in a few minutes of our arrival to help put the bikes in a secure place. There was everything we needed in the apartment, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, cereal, jams and all the utensils you need for self catering. This is an exceptionally creative use of a very small space! It's very easy access to the town centre and to a range of restaurants and the minster.

Everything, a lovely cottage within walking distance of all the local bars, shops and restaurant’s. The cottage had everything you could ever need for your stay, the hosts have thought of everything and are extremely helpful.

I wish we’d booked for another night

It was perfect quite compact but very comfortable for two people, with great location, loved the little seating area at back of property, bed was comfortable and immaculately clean as were the towels, Appartment has everything washer, cooker fridge/freezer, tv WiFi, fan, throw overs hairdryer and much more! The welcome pack was the best we've ever had, milk, beer, wine, cereal, biscuits etc, The hosts rob & jade, are lovely nothing to much trouble very friendly, and obviously put a lot of hard work and thought into peoples needs while away on holiday, we were able to park our motorbike in enclosed yard which was a bonus over all an amazing little gem we will definitely be staying again
