The house was roomy and cozy, with good furnishings, a spacious kitchen, and nice bathrooms. It was light and pleasing to spend time in. And the view was outstanding. John was an excellent and responsive host.
There were a few things that could have been better. Several pf the non-stick pans were damaged and u usable, and the wood stove glass was cracked. There were no bath mats. These were minor issues overall, though, and didn’t detract from our stay.

Die Lage des Cottage ist aussergewöhnlich schön. Die Aussicht atemberaubend, die Umgebung schön. Da es sehr abgelegen ist, sehr ruhig, sehr angenehme und hilfsbereite direkte Nachbaren.
Dass der Vermieter nach unserem Ausfall des Autos unsere Hunde im Nebengebäude duldete.
Dass am ersten Abend als wir spät ankamen ( unser Auto hat den Geist aufgegeben und wir mussten abgeschleppt werden und wurden mit einem Taxi "nach Hause" gebracht ) die Heizung nicht an war und somit auch kein warmes Wasser zur Verfügung stand.

The property was nice enough to stay in and was very large for our group
That the owner wanted more money 1 year after our booking as they realised it was a holiday nearer the arrival date. Too far out and not a shop nearby, wasn’t near anything and unless you could drive it’s not a good location
