Lovely apartment, very comfortable and warm and quaint. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Outside town but very quick and reliable taxi service recommended in the welcome notice. Lovely touch with the gift basket on arrival. Didn't meet the owners but didn't need to. They sent all the details we needed in advance. Great site, catering for all travellers. Would highly recommend.

Quirky little site with a mixture of accomodation types. Spotlessly clean and very quiet (possibly because there were very few guests). It was a bit cold in the evening but the heat in the room and bathroom made the room very cosy. Access to the shared lounge area was welcome but I didn't avail of it. Lovely location.
A warmer welcome would have been nice.

We stayed in the West Wing apartment and we really loved the way it had been decorated and how peaceful the place was.

We have stayed at Corcreggan before and we’re not disappointed in our second visit. The Loft studio was very quirky, spacious and comfortable. Also spotless clean.
Nothing we didn’t like.

Beautiful site.
A bit far out of the town to walk.

My friend and l loved the rustic vibe and location was perfect with fabulous views from the garden area 🏕️
Family owned and very pleasant and attentive. Banana bread unreal and open fire when we arrived in from evening out. 🔥
Everything was first class. Just one thing we’d thought our room was supposed to have a view. But it didn’t.

Special property, very chic. Lovely rooms and wonderful living room. Well cared for in every detail, excellent breakfast and beautiful surroundings. Refined in its “alternative” style.
The bathroom is OK but could benefit from some upgrading

The aesthetic of the property was like medieval times, well built and clean
The beds could be more comfortable. Also, way too pricey for the accommodation and facilities provided

Loved the room and the setting. This was the third time we stayed here. Previously we have done the camping and glamping.
It was very warm in the rooms. No need for the heating but it’s Donegal and the weather is different there!

The room was very nice and cool, which was a great relief in the hot weather.
We sat on the patio on a sunny evening to eat our takeaway.
All the staff were very friendly.one snall blemish!
We really, really missed not being able to make a cup of tea. I woke at 5.50 and there was no way of getting a cup of tea until 8.00 despite our having our own tea and milk.

The story of Corcreggan Mill and its restoration was very well-told in a photograph and text display, which also showed how the railway carriage we slept in was faithfully restored. The carriage was lovely, with a very comfortable bed, under curved ceiling-boards, a storage trunk, and a small sink.
The kitchen area and sitting-room were ideal for self-catering, though we didn't use these facilities, and the shower was good.
I didn't know in advance that the toilets were a little walk away, down the corridor, from our carriage. As an older person this was a disadvantage.

Beautiful location. Relaxing. Lovely surroundings. Quirky, well thought out, characterful accommodation.
Beautiful walks from the accommodation around the enchanted grounds and along the road behind. Loved the winding mill stream and fairy glen.
Fabulous views.
Scenic drive.
Kitchen, sitting room dining room and relaxing space outside superb.
Very clean tidy and presentable.
Easy drive to Dunfanaghy, Marble hill and many more beautiful places.
Calm peaceful, beautiful, characterful and friendly.
Shared facilities with only 2 toilets by the carriages.
Easy driving distance from Dunfanaghy. Limited facilities within easy walking distance which probably added to the calm.

I loved staying in the old railway carriage, it was very comfortable and rather quirky. The shower, kitchen and lounge facilities were very good and the site was well maintained. The owner was very helpful and allowed me to store my bicycle in the garage.
As a cyclist, the accommodation was a 15 minute cycle into Dunfanaghy but the owner told me the best route into town and gave suggestions on where to eat

Great location, friendly staff.
Wifi didn’t reach where we were staying
Shoebox like room
Expensive for what you get.
Breakfast not an option, had to travel elsewhere
No towels, not even a hand towel for the sink.
Draught from outside
Smelled like an old church/musty smell
Only 2 plug sockets
Could hear everything outside

Corcreggan Mill is a gorgeous place to stay. We stayed in the Mill House with B&B. It's a lovely old building with plenty of character and the whole site has a special energy to it. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We caught a beautiful sunset over Tory island from the Mill garden. . I really want to stay here again!

The beautiful surroundings, working Mill. The warm, clean, comfortable, quirky accommodation in a railway carriage, equipped with radiators turned on in the morning and evenings. (Lovely to heat your towel whilst having a shower!) Friendly staff and fellow guests. Welcoming open fire, low lighting and sofas in the communal areas. Very clean equipped kitchen.
Nothing really, as everything was of a very high standard for a Glamping site.
A tiny thing that needs to be considered is that the sink in room was slow to drain. Maybe needs to be cleaned?
And please move the wheelie bins from in front of the Mill as it takes from the beauty of the place and photo opportunities! 😍

Great location with an interesting history.
Room too small can barely allowing the opened luggages.

It is so cosy and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We arrived in from the rain and wind and felt at home straight away, big open fire, comfy chairs and the family room was perfect for us. The outdoor area is great to explore but we stayed by the fire and played some of the board games supplied. A five minute drive to Dunfanaghy where we went to the Rusty Pizza and Patsy Dans for food and drinks

Nice lounge /common room for relaxing in.. It was cosy as there was an open fire and comfortable seats.
No greeting / welcome, just a murmur about the computer not working right when I said I was checking in. When I got to my bedroom (room 2) it was very cold, there was a strong draught & leak from the bathroom window & with the torrential rain that evening there was a pool of water on the window sill. When I notified the girl on reception she said “oh yea I though there was a towel there to soak it up” she told me she would get maintenance to check it out when I was away for dinner. When I returned my door was unlocked so my belongings were left totally unsecured. Thankfully nothing was missing. There were towels left to mop up the leak. It was still quite cold even though I was told the heat would be on intermittently so I used both additional heaters that had been left in the hallway. Nobody asked at checkout how the stay was, disappointing for the price paid.

Very cosy inside, lovely area to sit by the fire. Great gardens with some fire pits and seating areas. Very quiet during our stay. Relaxed atmosphere. Information sent ahead of time so I had a good idea of what to expect.
It was great, just disappointed we were there on a night the fish van wasn’t open!

loved it! We stayed in one of the family rooms (number 11), it was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was not included in our room price, however for €12 per person you could buy it extra (good choice of breads, yogurt, fruit and boiled eggs available). We ate at the fish and chip van every night which was incredible! the fish tacos were to die for. Staff were great and gave good recommendations on where to go and what to do.
not much! short drive from Dunfanaghy and taxis cost €10 each way.

Breakfast was fairly basic but ok. Only issue was with having to pre-book breakfast slots - and those were very strict!

I can't comment on cleanliness etc because I never got to see my room.
I received a confirmation of my reservation from booking .com, followed a question about my arrival time, which I responded to.
I then spent the following day hiking in an in area without a phone signal. I arrived to the lodge at the agreed-upon time, but the place was deserted. Not a soul. There was a sign pasted on the window with a phone number to call if nobody is present (that number was different from the one on booking.com). I called both numbers, but there was no answer in either one. We waited for a while, and when it became clear nobody is going to show up I called booking.com support (in the US). I waited on the phone for about 20 minutes while they tried to contact the proprietors, but they also failed.
It was rather stressful because it was difficult to find another room with two twin beds so late in the game. We ended up driving 30 km away to the closest such room we could find without doubling the cost.
I later found that the lodge has sent me an email the previous day (while I was hiking) with a link to a web page which would have given me some information. But as I was not able to check my email on that day, that was completely useless. I do not know what the information in that link was, or whether that would have enabled me to enter a room, because by the time I was able to read the email, this reservation was cancelled.
To the proprietors: if you rent out a place and you are not going to be present, the least you can do is be available to answer the phone at the agreed-upon check-in time. Sending an email the day before and then disappearing is not acceptable. Your negligence caused me significant harm: wasting an hour waiting for you, followed by spending time with booking.com support (and paying dearly for calling the US while traveling abroad), wasting another hour finding an alternative place for the night, then driving 30 km and ending far from where I was planing to to travel the following day.

We visited for 2 nights in August. Liked the grounds and the sitting room. The one meal outdoors from the food truck was good
This was presented as having a b&b in addition to hostel and camping but the b&b is more like an upgrade on the hostel experience. Our room was basic with little room between the beds. There was a sign asking us to strip the beds and tie up our rubbish. No glasses were provided in the rooms. There was a comfort station by the lobby with water, teas and coffee facilities but this closed at 8 pm. The wine bar in the Lodge remained closed since covid and no sign of reopening. It rained on our second night there so the food truck didn't open. We were 3k from Dunfanaghy. Hugely overpriced for a very basic experience.

The staff at check in was great. Loads of ideas about places to eat and find traditional live music in town. The property has a unique vibe with glamping and a hostel on site, too.
The room was smaller than expected.
