Avoid! Much better accommodation locally

The location

The apartment was very cold, with limited heating on when we arrived, but no way to control it ourselves. We arrived back to a freezing cold apartment. Two of the visiting party refused to stay, and went elsewhere in the middle of the night, they were so cold. This ruined an otherwise great visit to Donegal. The landing lightbulb didn't work and we had to change it ourselves using another light. There was soap in the shower with pubic hair attached, so we didn't eat or wash at the property... I would question the thoroughness of the cleaning. There were also a lot of personal belongings in the property, such as clothes and work lanyards, so I feel like someone moved out for the night to allow the apartment to be rented to visitors. Avoid!

Oisin was a v good host checking in on us to see if we needed anything etc. Stunning view from balcony. Everything u need in kitchen etc. Near few beaches, great location. Will be back soon !!

A great stopover option. Spectacular view. The property has a lift which made a BIG difference. We strongly recommend this property.

The apartment is located on hill overlooking the sea, mountains and beach. Fabulous view from the property. The apartment itself is clean with all amenities. Host was excellent and will be back in the future to enjoy this very beautiful part of Donegal.

Property was is a poor general state of repair. Eg shower head broken, oven unusable, chipped cutlery. Most concerning was smoke detector disconnected and left on table. Carbon monoxide detector still in packaging in a press.

Pretty Portnablagh

The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious, the view was superb. Very well supplied with all the essentials and the beach across the road was just fabulous. Our host Oisín was so friendly and ultra patient!! I couldn't find the place, some glitch with Google maps, so he stayed on the phone with me until I pulled up at the front door, much appreciated! Would highly recommend this place as a great base to explore beautiful Dùn na nGall, you will be driving to explore but what's on your doorstep is pretty impressive

Ideal apartment

Very spacious and comfortable. Balcony with ideal view at end of the day. Proximity to nearby restaurant. Nearby Killahoey beach. Nearby town for provisions. All mod cons available, great bathrooms, elevator to third floor, parking available.

Kitchen hygiene to be slightly improved, just a better clean will be fine. Have a bin for rubbish and one for recycling.

A very pleasant stay at Oisin's Appartment.

Fantastic view of beach. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Beach and Dunfanaghy were a short distance away. Host Oisin was very accommodating and helpful.

While the property had all the essentials for your stay I would have liked WIFI although this was clearly stated in the description.

Der Ausblick

Absolut enttäuschend … bereits der Check in war ein absolutes Chaos . Selbst auf Nachfrage bekamen wir keine Anweisungen zum Check in . Wir fanden dann das Haus durch einen Hinweis in der Nachbarschaft und den Schlüssel im Briefkasten und betraten die Wohnung . Die Wohnung könnte wirklich schön sein , doch leider ist sie absolut dreckig und ungepflegt . Im Bad waren noch Zahnpasta und Haare vom Bewohner der Wohnung, das Wohnzimmer war mit Wasserschäden und Schimmel absolut ungemütlich , der Vorhang total versifft, und sämtliche Ecken mit Unterlagen und Kram des Bewohners bestückt, die Küche war einfach dreckig und roch extrem seltsam . Die Wohnung müsste dringend renoviert und geputzt werden . Die Heizung konnte nicht eingeschaltet werden. In einem Eck konnten wir zumindest einen Heizlüfter finden. Auf Nachrichten und Anrufe haben wir keine Reaktion des Vermieters erhalten . Das Geld war die Wohnung keinesfalls wert . Die positiven Bewertungen können nicht echt sein . Finger davon lassen !!
