Cannot recommend this cottage enough!

A perfect hideaway in a well restored authentic irish cottage. Loved the quaint feel and little touches throughout. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. We had our car so was a perfect spot for exploring beautiful Donegal and surrounding areas.

We had to buy cleaning products as there weren’t enough in the cottage to keep on top of cleaning during a longer stay. The TV is temperamental and cuts out a lot with signal issues so was tricky to navigate, not a big problem just worth mentioning for those coming with little ones who might need entertained!

Couldn’t imagine a better place!

Absolutely fantastic cottage! It’s very authentic, yet freshly renovated in a beautifully balanced way, you can still appreciate all the tiny details from the past while enjoying the comforts of today. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, and the birthday card is something we’ll always remember ;) The rooms are cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and reliably hot water. The kitchen is beautifully furnished, and the area around the fireplace is just lovely. A true piece of peace for us and our pug Chuck :) Thank you so much! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We loved every second of it!

Manus renovated his family cottage with magnificent taste and loving attention to details. We felt how special the place was even from driving to the cottage. We fell in love instantly from the moment we arrived. We had the most pleasant and comfortable stay at this beautiful cottage. Really looking forward to coming back and sharing the joyful experience with family and friends.

An exceptional stay in Teach Néil Mhanais.

The house is finished to an exceptional standard. It was great value for money and in a good location for experiencing the Donegal Gaeltacht. Manus and his wife were great hosts and checked in on us everyday as did their lovely dog Sally. The Eircode brought us straight there with shops, restaurants and pubs only 5 mins away. We will be returning .

Perfect rural Irish cottage

Lovely recently decorated and very comfortable cottage that has a rural Irish feel. Located a close drive to the sea and mountains. Perfect layout for a family stay.

A previous guest had broken the corkscrew, finding a shop locally that sold one was a challenge.

Hospitality at its Best 🥰

I booked this for my in-laws and they have been raving about their stay. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Could not say enough good things about them. They even left a fresh apple tart. The house was beautifully designed with beautiful touches and features. Would recommend to a friend or will perhaps will pay a visit myself ☺️
