Lovely house in a nice location handy for all North Donegal has to offer.

Very spacious modern house with a nice feel. Good location for local attraction but very quite with excellent parking. Walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants.

There was a small problem with the central heating.

There is everything you would need at the property. Just a 2 minute walk from the village . Lots of room ,bedrooms upstairs are good size and beds comfortable. Mary is a fantastic Host and is very accommodating.

Great location lots to see and do in the area.

The holiday house was spacious and well-appointed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with ample amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The living areas were cozy, added bonus of netflix and the kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The house had a warm and inviting ambiance, making us feel right at home. The bed were so comfortable best night sleep,so cozy. This home has plenty of space with ensuite for each bedroom and downstairs WC.Great for families. Overall Experience: Our experience at the holiday house was positive. The serene location, comfortable accommodation, and lots of space made our stay truly enjoyable and memorable. We would recommend this holiday house to anyone looking for a family getaway.

Nothing that we didn't like.However personal choice would be another chair/armchair bigger sofa as only sitting for four in living room.For us watching family movie not enough sitting.

A lovely, warm house with the added bonus of bringing our dog. Mary, the owner was warm, welcoming and left milk and banana bread as a welcome gift!

Great base for exploring

A lovely house with all you could possibly need or want. Very clean. Close to shops and restaurants . Beach not too far by car. We used it as a base to explore further afield.. .Bunbeg ,Mt Errigal.,Dunfanaghy ,Glenveigh National Park and Marble Hill beach . Mary the owner was lovely very helpful. Bread milk and homemade jam left for our arrival...delicious.

Cosy, peaceful and spacious stay

Mary kept in contact with us the whole time, arranging check in and meeting us to go through everything. Then checking in to make sure everything was okay with the house the next day. There was plenty of space for a family and being pet friendly was great. When we arrived, a roaring fire had been lit which was lovely and freshly baked wheaten bread was also supplied. The lovely little touches made the stay.

Suaimhneas felt like a home from home. Every room was spotless, the kitchen very well equipped and the beds very fresh and comfortable. The open fire with well stocked fuel was an added bonus. We can’t wait to return

Perfect family holiday home close to Donegal’s best beaches

Lovely touches that made us feel so welcome such as the homemade guiness bread and caramel slices, the little soaps in each bathroom made locally and all the best local spots to visit and directions pinned up in the kitchen!

I honestly couldn’t fault the place. There was a fire built and so many little things in the house we didn’t need to worry about such as milk in the fridge and plenty of towels. A perfect stay

Excellent house and hosts!

Máire and Willy are fantastic hosts! Nothing was too much trouble for them. House and location were great, house fully equipped with everything you could need! Freshly baked scones were a fab touch on arrival. (we had stopped in supermarket before arrival and ended up not needing most of household stuff we bought as Máire had it all supplied!) Excellent quality bedding and mattress through out and house tastefully decorated to a high standard. Very clean house and felt uber safe in these covid times. My husband also forgot his fitbit and Máire kindly and very promptly posted it back to him in Kildare. Thanks again for that M! **Care may ne needed with toddler stages as house is on a busy enough road!** All in all with this being our first trip to Donegal ever, we fell in love and we hope to be back as many times as possible. I would without a doubt pick Suaimhneas, Mary and Willy everytime! Thanks again for all your help and we look forward to being back in Suaimhneas and Falcarragh. Kind regards Izzy

Fabulous Falcarragh

This was a lovely house, very comfortable, cosy with great attention to detail. Will definitely be back. Falcarragh is well appointed for touring around this part of donegal. Had a lovely stay.

Really worth staying at this place and visit the area.

The host, Mary, was very, very helpful. She has provided us with plenty of tips and guidelines when it comes to trips around the area. Contact with her was straightforward, and she replies to the questions immediately. The house itself was very spacefull and clean with the full necessary equipment. The big garden where the kids could run and play safely. A place for BBQ and a car park for few cars. Falcarragh is located close to the beaches (5 min drive), parks and beautiful landscapes within 20 min drive. Few nice 'Take Aways' and Pubs/Restaurants (unfortunately closed due to Covid during our stay) within walking distance from the house.

One day, small flies were quite annoying (especially in the Glenveagh National Park), but this could be just a time of the year (June). Maybe some Insect repellent cream would be good to have during trips.
