Heather View Cottage was the perfect location to explore nearby. Beautiful home and great value for money.
There was a leak coming through the light in the downstairs hallway, coming from the upstairs bathroom when the toilet was flushed. We weren't comfortable using the lights downstairs so we cut our stay a night short. The owner was out checking straight away, and had plans to get it sorted when we left, so there should be zero issues for anyone booking now.

The location and size of the property was excellent.
Unfortunately the property was not very clean when we arrived. None of bedding had been changed (dirty and slept in) and bins had not been emptied in the en-suite bathroom.
Thankfully we found some spare bedding for all rooms which we had to replace ourselves.
The kitchen was greasy and toaster full of crumbs. The oven was dirty, and the air fryer didn’t work.
We opted to eat out rather than cook in the property.
The sunroom carpet was covered in dog hair and the living room sofas were full of grime in between the cushions.
To be honest the house is great, but could be doing with some TLC and freshening up.
