The location was excellent, and the cottage itself was clean and cozy. Plenty of kitchen utensils for self catering, little extras like milk in the fridge, logs for the fire and some toiletries. The beds were comfortable, allowing for a good nights sleep. Having free Netflix was a big hit as the weather dictated more time indoors.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay in Creevy Cottages, The Rock and it was the perfect getaway from start to finish. The cottage itself was spotless, cosy, and had everything needed for a relaxing break. From the comfortable bed to the thoughtful touches throughout, it truly felt like a home away from home.
Our host Tommy was absolutely fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Their local recommendations were spot on and added so much to our stay.
The peaceful setting, warm atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality made this stay memorable. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable escape. I’m already looking forward to returning!
Weather was typical Irish weather, four seasons in one day, but that was March! This didn’t put us of exploring and walking on the local beaches.
Some lovely coastal walks also.
The outdoor area was a great size and perfect setting for outdoor dining in better weather.
Pet friendly which is a plus for us. Some of the beaches are Blue Flag (which have restricted dates of pets allowed on the beaches)
This is nothing against the hosts, or cottages which were perfect. You would need to drive to a local pub/restaurant. There was a hotel at Creevy Pier (great for a wee sea swim), 500mtrs away, but it was closed for renovations, I believe it is hoping to reopen in spring/summer 2026.

Just back from a 2 day stay at the cottage. Its a beautiful comfortable home with everything you need for a great stay. The back garden was perfect for our son to play football and our dog to play. The pier is a 2 min walk and is perfect for a sea swim. Close to the town for shops and restaurants. The hosts were fantastic with clear, quick communication from the start. We have already booked to come back next year.
