About this house rental
Welcome to Stonehaven – your curated townhouse in the heart of Donegal Town!
Stonehaven is a considered townhouse in the heart of Donegal—a quiet base shaped by good books, natural materials, thoughtful details and the landscape beyond its walls.
More than a place to stay, it offers a gentle introduction to the Stonehaven way of life. Mornings unfold slowly, walks begin at the door, and evenings are made for cooking, reading or letting the day settle. Throughout the house, small details encourage a different pace: a journal left open, a yoga mat within reach, seeds to scatter, birds to feed and space to disappear from the digital world for a while.
Warm, grounded and quietly expressive, Stonehaven brings the intimacy of a home together with the thoughtfulness of a boutique stay. The townhouse is the first expression of a wider vision, with a nature-led retreat in Lough Eske forming the next chapter.
Here we’re redefining modern luxury with timeless warmth and comfort — perfect for families, groups of friends, or couples traveling together. The townhouse sleeps up to 6 guests and is pet-friendly, so your furry friends are welcome too.
Just a 5-minute walk to Donegal Town, you’ll find restaurants, traditional music pubs, shops, and cafes. Free parking is available, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, including Slieve League cliffs, scenic coastal drives, historic castles, and quiet beaches.
.Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, and thoughtful touches that make your stay feel personal and inviting. Whether you’re relaxing after a day of exploring or planning your next adventure along the Wild Atlantic Way, Stonehaven is a home designed to make your Irish getaway memorable, authentic, and connected to the land.

We loved this warm and friendly little townhome! It was the perfect place for a quick stopover for our family at the start of our dream Irish road trip. The host was incredibly gracious and quick to respond when we got in late due to some car trouble and I was texting late with questions (and none of those questions were things that weren’t explained right or anything like that - the questions were all things I would have figured out myself really easily had I not been stressed and sleep deprived). Great location, charming decor and yard. Super clean. Loved the little touches of the seeds and the Irish folklore and travel books.
