Diamond House Apartments

The property was brillant. Had Everything we needed and rite in the center of Derry/Londonderry at the diamond. Cant fault it. Amazing definitely stay again if we are ever going back up.

The doors were a bit squeaky coming in and out of the bedroom one bedroom has a mirror on the back of the door and if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night it makes alot of noise as its not tight onto the door. Apart from thst its an amazing place.

Great central, location easy check in / check out process and the apartment is spacious for two adults and two children.

The apartment is quite worn down, handles are missing off the kitchen cupboards / the iron board cover is ripped with blood stains on, the sofas need a deep clean.

The stairs to the top floor deluxe apartment, so many flights!

The location in the heart of Derry city was very convenient with many shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. The beds were reasonably comfortable so we slept fine. Check-in went smoothly. That's about it.

The apartment itself was tired and worn looking, kind of dark and utilitarian. The seating and kitchen area were cramped and did not feel fresh and clean, the sofas were dated, with sunken seats, dusty and in need of replacement. The windows could not easily be opened so there was little fresh air. We had the chance to view the inside of the apartment on the opposite side of the hallway and that was much nicer, it looked more modern and up to date. Another irritating feature which I know is probably a standard fire-safety measure is that the doors all swing shut with velocity the moment you let go of them, so when you want to walk from room to room or move about the apartment, it's a right pain. We had our kids there with us so we wanted the door to the living room open so that we could supervise them and we had to place a chair in front of it to do so. I would recommend to the owner to provide door-stops for guests. The general vibe of the apartment we stayed in was: past its use by date. I would only book this place if you plan to spend almost all of your time out and just want somewhere to sleep.
