No sleep due to party until 5.30am

Nice location and nice apartment

Even though rules state no parties apartment above us were partying till 5.30am I went up to complain and all they did was get louder I contacted host who advised she would talk to them but that wasn't good enough as I knew they would ignore her. As a result we had to move into a hotel for remaining days This proved to be correct decision as I was talking to a couple who stayed on and they advised that the noise was just as bad on the Saturday and continued till 5.30am again So we got no sleep and cost us a small fortune to book into hotel

Great stay in clean, comfortable flat with beautiful views out to the sea.

Perfect location by the beach and a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops, pubs, restaurants. Communication with host was good and access was easy.

Very nice appartment in a nice location near the sea. The hostess is really kind and everything went perfectly. The appartment has most things you may need.

Steep stairs on high floor appartments may not be suitable for older people, but there’s another appartment on the ground floor, so make sure to let them know if you need to be on the ground floor. They’re really attentive and kind.

It was very homely apartment. Had everything needed for a family with baby. Location is also perfect. Kids play area just across the road. Beach and all attractions walkable distance. Would love to stay again here.

Good location, good for pets

Great location, good for pets. Spacious apartment. Private parking was great, although tight to get in and out of the space at the back of apartments.

We stayed in apartment 4, which was quite dark. We stayed in these apartments before, but upstairs with a view out to the beach and this time the apartment wasn't as nice. Towels could be replaced as not good quality. Apartment needs updating.

Superb

Fabulous sea views and spacious apartment. Sofa and bed were comfortable. The location is great as it allowed us to explore the Inishowen peninsula and the village has good restaurants and walks by the beach.

The apartment needs some TLC as in painting of walls and some renovation, especially the stove top and the fridge. Being such a spacious kitchen, it needs some better basic cooking essentials (proper frying pan, sieve, tongs...).

Comfy & clean, great location!!

The apartments were comfortable and clean. Much more space than I expected, you wouldn't think to look at the front that there was so much going on in the back! Great location right across from the beach. Instructions from Joanne to get into the building were simple and straightforward, and she was only ever a text away if needed.

Family with 2 boys

Beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was very clean. Great location across from playground and small soccer court/ tennis court, which our boys loved! Ideal for families with two children. Also, right across from the Amazing Grace walk with sea view. There is a small gym open public area not far away to keep teens occupied too, which was a nice suprise. Nice quiet area at night and just a small walk into town.

Channels on television didn't work for us, only downside.

Spacious apartment in a great location.

Apartment is in a great location, minutes from the beach and town centre. We would especially recommend Tank and Skinnys by the pier for breakfast and lunch and the Sherpa restaurant on Main street for dinner, both of which were only minutes walk from the apartment. Check in was easy with the owner messaging me the code for the key box. Very clean property. Large with 2 wc's and.spacious enough for our group.of 4. Comfortable beds and pillows. We really enjoyed our break in Buncrana and would book this apartment again.

Just a few small things. Only 1 towel per person. Us girls taking showers would have liked a smaller towel also for our hair. We had to go out and buy soap and shower gel as none was provided. Living room was a wee bit dark because there is only one window at the side looking out at a wall (so no sea view 😟) but that wasn't a big deal.

Uncomfortable

Our stay in Buncrana was nice. The location of the apartment was central to Buncrana and walking distance to the main street which was great. It was along the waterfront and had great access to the tennis and basketball courts and the kids playground. The apartment itself is ok.

The bed in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and neither of us had a good sleep. I would definitely recommend that this matress is replaced as this would make the stay a lot better. Unfortunarely this was not the only fault; it was made worse with finding multiple animal hairs in the bed before we went to sleep. We removed as much as we could but didn't get them all. Another thing we noticed was the dishes in the cupboards were not cleaned from previous guests. Overall the location was great but it did not make up for the issues within the property especially with spending the same amount that a hotel room would have cost! Very disappointing to be honest.

Highly recommend 8 Aileach

Beautiful location, spectacular views. Really cosy,comfortable and very clean. Everything you need. If there's something you have forgotten on your trip then it's in the apartment for you. Joanne thought of everything just in case. Tea,coffee and everything you can think of is there. Even down to a little sewing kit,lint removers, first aid kit.Plenty of spare towels and toiletries and lots more. Basically just bring yourself as you have everything you need. There was even chocolates on our pillows when we arrived. There were tennis rackets provided in the hallway which was also very thoughtful. The tennis courts are amazing across the road. As I said Joanne thought of everything. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.Thank you !
