We stayed here as a family. We really enjoyed our stay at the White Strand Beach House. The House was lovely, it was really clean, Tidy & Family friendly. The outside had a lovely Garden with Swings & Slide for the kids to play on that was safely gated off from the Road. Anita was a Brilliant Host, if anything was needed she was right at hand. The location was brilliant, it was a 10 minutes walk into Buncrana Town Centre, and just 5 mins to the Beach & Kids play park. I would highly recommend staying at the White Strand Beach House. We will most Definitely be back soon.

Comfy living room, Big safe garden (gated), open fire, minutes walk to the beach, the shower was great, not to mention the kitchen and all its utilities. Oh! and the was excellent!!!

The house, which did have a very comfort beds, was located just on the edge of town as you drive into Buncrana, and the beach was located within walking distance across the main road. The town, however, is located within driving distance, and as the nearest bar does not service food, so you do need to drive to the town if you are looking to eat out.
If you are looking a house that comes with the scenic views of Donegal this is not the house for you. It is facing an old factory to the front and a housing development to the back. The house itself is somewhat dated in terms of wear and tear and the heating which required euros, appeared temperamental only working on the 1st night of our 3 night stay, which meant the house was cold at night. The grass in the garden was overgrown and in general it felt the house lacked a bit of care and attention, windows were dirty and overall the cleanliness lacked a high standard. The shower is not suitable for disabled persons given its position and as you have to step over into it. It is advertised with the ability to play tennis although I am not sure why and unfortunately the swings were damaged. If the weather is poor and you are looking some TV for children you will need to ensure you bring a firestick as the TV has limited channels and we were unable to sign into Netflix. The house does however have WIFI.
