Good vibes in this great dive resort

Great vibe with the people. Nice big room, good matras, quite, we slept really well. Close by cheap and nice warung (Cosy Corner). Loved our 3 nights here, would definitely come back. We were sad to leave.

A good place to stay for a Tulamben diving trip

Great location for Tulamben diving trip, airport pick up and drop off with reasonable fees, friendly and helpful staffs.

Old bath towels need to be replaced, unchanged breakfast availability as we stayed for 8 nights, but in general Scuba Tribe offers great value and definitely worth the rate they charged.

Incredible hostel

I was originally meant to stay two nights at scuba tribe but ended up staying a week. It’s my favourite hostel I’ve ever been to. The people who work here are friendly and lovely to chat to. The dorm is clean and incredibly spacious. The showers and toilets all pristine. The pool likewise, and much bigger than the pools at other hostels I’ve seen. Tulamben is a lovely place. It is quiet and well preserved. The diving is excellent and my instructor Mang was great. I couldn’t recommend this hostel enough. I had a wonderful stay here.

Amazing place for divers and low budget travelers

After staying here for 6 nights, I would 100% recommend this place! The beds are the comfiest I’ve ever seen in a dorm, and quite larger than the regular size. You also get a lot of room since there are only 4 people in each dorm, while they could easily fit twice as many. You also get a full size closet to fit your luggage and clothes. Each dorm has its own bathroom (with separate toilet and shower) so you very seldom have to wait. They have a beautiful pool outside. The staff is very nice and helpful and if you’re planning to dive, their dive guides are really good (note, you’ll get your OWN dive guide and you can ask for a specific site or type of dive). All that at an amazingly affordable price!

Diving package

Really nice dorms with only 4 beds, no bunkbeds. Working air conditioning 24/7, hot shower. I did book one night here and then ended up booking dive & stay package the following 5nights. All guests get their own personal dive master when diving.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bloody marvellous

The property was in a really peaceful location. The rooms are huge and spotlessly clean the bathroom is gorgeous. The food is fantastic and very reasonable and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were lucky enough to land on a night where they had very chilled and brilliant acoustic singing, which was great. Was lovely chatting to Sven the diving instructor he gave us lots of great tips and was really helpful. As an added bonus they have a really tasty draft lager… we took full advantage. We will most definitely return here, hopefully very soon! Thank you so much to all the staff for a great stay 👏🏻🙌♥️

Amazing place, amazing people working there, specially the owner and diving instructors, free cold/hot mineral water + tea/coffee. Beautiful pool with nice places to sit around and live music two times a week. Big rooms with comfortable beds. On walking distance to the USAT Liberty Wreck diving site.

Highly recommend the deluxe room/junior suite good value for the price

Stayed in the new pool view deluxe room, junior suites. Very nice in this room category is a free minibar with soft drinks and even a small beer included and get refilled for free every day. That’s amazing. The rooms are brand new and the mattress is so comfortable. The staff is extremes friendly. The room was super clean. Will come back in march next year again and stay more long

A Diver’s Paradise

A Diver’s Paradise If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Scuba Tribe Diving Resort is not just a dive center, it’s a place to arrive, to feel at home and to become part of something truly special. I spent two weeks here and it was without a doubt the best choice. The dive training is absolutely exceptional. Every student gets their own personal dive guide, a level of attention and care that goes far beyond the usual. Especially during the fun dives, you can express your wishes each day and the team makes it happen. Whether you want to explore a new site, focus on skills or just relax underwater… it’s all about you. The team speaks both German and/or English and all courses are offered in either language with ease. I originally thought there were only three dive sites nearby… turns out there are around 15. Which ones you visit depends on your experience level and personal preferences. The underwater world here is simply breathtaking. Whether you stay for a few days, weeks or even months, you’ll quickly become part of the dive family (if you want to… no pressure). The entire staff is constantly striving to make your stay as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Got a special request? Just ask. I wanted to visit a water temple and nearby rice fields on my dive day off and a driver was arranged without hesitation. Laundry for my onward journey was taken care of and returned freshly cleaned. The bungalow I booked was clean, comfortable and regularly serviced, fresh linens every couple of days, air-conditioned room and all with a touch of eco-consciousness. The resort truly gives back to the local community: Live music comes from local band and all furniture is locally crafted and sourced. If you’re looking for professional diving, warmhearted people and a place that feels like home, Scuba Tribe is the place to be. I’ll be back, no doubt about it.

My only advice? Plan extra time. Everyone I met ended up staying longer than they originally planned and it’s easy to see why.

ROOM ~~ I was in a 4 bed dorm. Everything clean, good AC, lockers included, comfy bed, friendly and respectful guests STAFF ~~ friendly PRICE ~~ incredibly good value for the dorm (less than 5€ per night) FOOD ~~ Had sweet Mertabak, was tasty (they close at 9pm)

The area on the right when you enter the facilities could use a bit more love, the locker was a bit tricky to close.

Best place for everything in Tulamben

Amazing staff! I loved my stay at scuba tribe. Everyone working here are very friendly and helpfull. It was easy to arrange diving for the next day or even on the day with the team of divers working here, Gede and Esa showed me cool spots and we had a lot of fun. I rented a scooter through reception very easy. Everything here comes at very affordable prices. Dorm rooms are large and have proper beds. Everyday staff cleans the rooms and makes the beds, which is much apreciated.

Great choice if you are doing dives with Scuba Tribe

Amazing value for money. Literally paid around 5 euro for a bed in a dorm. Accommodation for divers of the diving school. Awesome access to the beach and to the liberty shipwreck. Cleanliness is spotless. Staff is kind and helpful. The scuba diving staff is adorable, professional and fun!

I mean the dorms are very simple and the water pressure was nonexistent. But for that price it’s more than ok. Not much of a vibe in the common area outdoors. Many solo travelers but somehow not very social (which of course doesn’t depend on the hostel itself). Breakfast and food in general are slightly more expensive than the warungs around

Best bed for a budget near Amed

I booked a bed in the dorm and was more than positively surprised! It has a few perks that you normally would not find in low-budget hostels on Bali: - It's spotlessly clean. I would literally have eaten off the floor. I hope they keep that cleaning staff... - Water pressure! Yes, you can enjoy a GOOD shower here. Warm water even. - A luxurious bed. You have proper bedding with a quilt and the bed is huge. - A big pool - one that you can actually properly swim in and not feel like a whale in a zoo. All in all it's unbelievable value for money. Definitely recommended.

This place has just recently extended - and it feels a little "bare" for now, still carrying some construction site vibes. But I guess they will add more plants/trees and take care of the garden later once they have fully completed the extension.

An amazing dive resort

The position is perfect for diving the house rive is the us liberty shipwreck and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable

If u don’t do diving/snorkeling there is not much to do in the city and the taxis they offer can get a little expensive

Room is clean and comfortable, and is located close to beach, shop and restaurant. The staffs were very kind and helpful. They also provided free flow coffee and tea (anytime). Recommended for long stay traveller or divers.

Amazing experience

Friendly and wonderful staff, clean room! Super affordable! You can dive as much as you want. I was lucky to be able to dive with Mang, he was so nice, professional and good at filming. The staff helped me with everything, renting a scooter and taking care of my laundry. I am super satisfied and will come back again!

The only minus was that once when I came back from diving, the cleaners had left my room door wide open. Inside was my laptop and cash and valuables, this caused a slight feeling of insecurity. Fortunately, nothing was lost. The staff apologized when I told them about it.

It was a great place to stay. The room was nice, big, clean and with hot water! The people are very nice and I liked a lot diving with them because you have a personalised experience ,i.e. you propose at what time you would like to go diving and it is only you and your buddy..no groups! Love it

Good prize qulity worth

If you look outside you think It’s normal. But inside is really quiet . There are so-many plants in it . Every people smiled friendly to people. Just like home. Low prize but quality is worth . It’s good than I live inAlba the chinese restraint . It’s expensive and so noisy can’t sleep . I precipitated to live here. Have a comfortable sleep.
