Great hotel for diving at Tulamben

The hotel is comfortable. My room was large and well furnished. The restaurant food was pretty good, and we probably ate there about half the time. Breakfast was good too, although it became a bit samey after two weeks. All in all, it is a very laid back relaxing place made all the better by very friendly and helpful staff.

Tulamben is a fantastic place for some great diving. There isn't much in the area for non-divers, and the beach is steep and stoney with very few facilities for non-divers.

Good stay.

We stayed here so that my wife to get her Advanced Open Water Certification. That process was a bit disorganized but after a lot of effort on our part, we were able to officially get that in 4 days. Everything in the room worked perfectly except for the water pressure. But plenty of hot water, fridge in the room was nice, the balcony was nice and a standard breakfast was included. Wi-Fi was excellent.

Water pressure was a bit of an issue, but not enough to make us not stay here again. The value for the money was terrific.

Excellent stay near Liberty Shipwreck Dive Site

The stay was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Despite being located on the main street, the accommodation was quiet and peaceful. The property is very close to major diving sites in Tulamben, such as the famous US Liberty Shipwreck, which is within walking distance. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby serving both local and international dishes.

Lovely spacious room with a great sized fridge and very comfy bed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff were very good the room was very clean the restaurants food was excellent the pool was nice and cool the only problem is that it is close to a very busy road and all day and all night there's a lot of traffic noise into the rooms and in the restaurant the diving instructors were brilliant and very very helpful and all in all it was a very good stay

Very good

It's a budget accommodation just like all other normal diving resort rooms. The staff was nice, but the bathroom drain in our room takes quite a long time to drain, the door is expanded and causes moisture quite hard to open. We stay upstairs, if the weather is good, can see the volcano. Just a budget accommodation, nothing special.

i was the only guest in the dorms, so maybe not the best option for solo travelers wanting to socialize. I didn’t mind since i was taking a diving course and had friends from there so actually being in a “private” room was nice

Very nice stay

Nice spacious room, comfy bed, large balcony to rest. Aircon and fan, both very useful! Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is a short walk across the road to the beach and the US Liberty wreck diving and snorkeling spot. The breakfast is very good and theres some variety available which is nice during a longer stay. There's hot water for tea or coffee available at the reception. Definitely ask for an upstairs room if you like privacy, the pool-level rooms are very exposed (can't open the curtain without everyone seeing right inside). The pool was really nice, clean and refreshing.

Staff didn't change towels or bedsheets at all during our stay, although the room was cleaned at least every other day. WiFi worked so-so. We had dinner at the restaurant once and it wasn't the best in town, but alright. The dive shop attached to the hotel did not work for us (staff was not able to communicate their set up, schedule, groups and prices, which is basic information; online they seem to be significantly more expensive that other local shops in town) so we booked diving elsewhere.

Simpele dorm maar wel lekker verblijf

De dorm is basic maar echt meer dan prima. Alles is heel schoon en je kan ook nog eens lekker eten in het restaurant. Ik ben hier 3 nachten geweest voor mijn open water duik cursus en dit was hiervoor perfect. De dorm is groot maar tijdens mijn verblijf lagen we er maar met vier man.

Kellemes szállás búvárkodásra vágyóknak

Tetszett, hogy nagyon közel (1 perc sétára) volt az SSI Dive Concept iskolától, ahova jártunk búvárkodni. A szoba tágas volt, a fürdőszoba helyi körülményekhez képest tiszta, angol wc-vel felszerelt. Reggelit egy menüről lehetett választani: egy "főételt", teát/kávét és gyümölcstálat/juice-t. A reggeli finom volt, egyik kedvencünk lett az ottani fried banana.

A reggelit nem éreztem elégnek, főleg búvárkodás utánra kifejezetten megéheztem. Egy vízforraló és egy hajszárító hasznos lett volna a szobában. Sajnos az egyik ágy el volt törve, nem volt megjavítva, így a kiálló éles rész megsebesített.
