Definitely a good little find and would definitely stay again.

Quirky property, fully and thoughtfully equipped with everything that you could need including toiletries, iron, hairdryer etc. Very convenient for the town centre and also Morrisons for morning goods, milk, snacks, booze etc.

The property was freezing on arrival, but after a couple of hours of putting the heaters on, it soon warmed up. Also, there didn't seem to be any ventilation in the bathroom but this didn't affect our enjoyment.

Do not go near this place. There are only two tiny electric heaters and the flat is freezing. The towel rail in the bathroom does not work, and there is damp and condensation all over the shower because of the cold. The bed is extremely uncomfortable – sleeping on the floor would honestly be better. The host was horrible and completely unhelpful. I became sick from the cold and had to leave a day early instead of staying two nights, and they refused to give any refund. On top of that, the managing agents are very rude and ignore messages. I accidentally left a very important watch in the flat and they have completely ignored me and made no effort to help. Avoid this place at all costs.

Very good location and good value for money

The location was excellent, minutes from Morrisons and a pub but still very quiet location and slept very well. Shower was nice and hot and kitchen looked new.

No free parking although could have paid to leave car in Morrisons. One of the mugs was dirty so cleaned everything I used, just in case.

Cute character cottage in the heart of Newark.

St Leonard's Cottage was perfect for our needs and very centrally located. It was very well equipped for self catering, comfortable and clean.

Would have been nice to have had a few basic provisions such as milk, tea and coffee.

Beautiful cottage right in the city centre but just away in a little mews so is very quiet. Close to all amenities, pubs, restaurants and the river. All shops on the doorstep. Would definitely book here again.

This is the real deal! Choosing anywhere else would be a massive mistake.

There was very little to dislike. Prime location in the town, easy access (No stairs / plenty of moving space). All essentials were available and ready to use. The place retained the warmth very well! I can't pick fault!

There's nothing we didn't like as such. We found the sofa and bed slightly uncomfortable... but by all means both were fit for purpose. We are just both people with several old reoccurring injuries, so for the best part, like things a little softer. This in no way detracts from our stay... and would come back 100 times given a chance.
