Highly recommend this apartment.

Cleanliness, cosy, heaters worked well, lots of space, everything we needed in the kitchen, excellent location. Brilliant value.

To make it totally perfect you could add😉: chest of drawers in main bedroom; hooks in bathroom for towels and clothes when using shower; larger washstand in bathroom.

Excellent location steeped in history everything in walkable distance. Have already booked for next year.

Only minor issue was one of the TV remotes didn't work.

Give this property a miss. Desperately in need of TLC

The location was ok.

The property was dirty and very dingy. Bed linen and towels didn’t appear to have been washed. The floors were absolutely filthy and hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped. Property is in need of a serious overhaul. Everything was stale and decaying. I don’t even think you can open the windows.

Great and would stay again.

Great location close to the market, church, pubs and supermarket. A very clean apartment. Good supply of hot water, bathroom was clean and looked new. Well equipped kitchen. Bed was comfortable as were all the furnishings.

There were a few little things that could have made it exceptional- cheapest coffee sachets provided but no milk, no tea bags or sugar or salt and pepper. The towels clean but washed with highly scented product that was so strong it took your breath away. No place mats which means heat from food on plates will eventually damage the table. Nowhere to hang bath towels close to shower, which meant a slippery walk across the floor.

Excellent accommodation brimming with history. Location central easy access to all amenities. Have already booked up for later in the year.

Clean tidy, very central and rooms very comfortable.

Fab location and car park cost was very good for our 3 days away. Although the property felt very cold when we first arrived it took no more than thirty minutes for heaters to warm up the place.

First time toaster used it started smoking within seconds and despite cleaning it and emptying the crumbs, one side continued to smoke. Very hard to open the windows to get the smoke out but once understood how they opened the smell soon disappeared. Would be really nice to have a small freezer section in the fridge. The apartment has plenty of space for a bigger kitchen fridge/freezer, ( on hot days would be nice to be able to put some ice with your gin). Main bedroom could really do with somewhere to put clothes rather than having to leave them in your suitcase. Small chest of drawers would help , especially if I was staying for a week. These are only minor things and would not stop me from staying here again, but it would make me look for other options close to the town center.

Beautiful interior and exterior Very cozy Good history about the building Very good instructions from the owner Very spacious

WiFi - we could connect but there was no internet access, though we do have mobile data. The slats on the main bedroom kept popping out but was easy to put back in place.

Our third stay at this lovely character property, it is comfortable, warm and in an excellent location. Spacious rooms and plenty of storage space.

Disappointing Facilities.

Central Location, Lovely Historic building. Easy to find.

Freezing cold on arrival. Very poor kitchen facilities. Not even a bread knife or matching glasses, cutlery all mismatched. Bathroom facilities extremely poor, shower a dribble, no decent lights (only in shower) tiny loo & sink.

Location was perfect for us..out the door into town ,was spotless and beds comfy Everything you needed was there Parking is available free if you don't mind a five minute walk.. All in all a lovely place for a few days rest

Fantastic stay, all 4 of us loved it.

The location of the property was perfect, surrounded by all the things we wanted from our stay. The property itself had so much character & would 100% stop there again.

The only thing that caused a problem was my father Inlaw banged his head a few times on the door frames due to them being quite small and him being 6ft 3 haha, was funny for the rest of us.

Didn't actually meet the hosts, so difficult to give the max response. we came to visit the event on at the show ground. So we weren't at the digs all that much, however, we couldn't have had a better place to stay.

Newark upon Trent is well worth a visit and if you don't have great demands, the apartment is fine.

The location of this property is excellent and although in the very centre of the town it's very quiet. The apartment is in an old building, with difficult stairs for people with mobility problems, it's very large and quirky and the basic facilities are practical and efficient.

A little TLC in certain areas of the apartment would not come amiss. With some investment it could really be much better.
