In short everything. Accommodation perfect for myself and a friend, travelling to Newark for a military reunion. Clean and tidy. Would recommend to anyone!

Convenient & well equipped for a short stay

The location and ease of car parking. Two showers. Generally well equipped and maintained. Very good instructions from the host concerning arrival and departure.

Even for just 2 of us, the lounge/dining area was a bit cramped, and the step down from it into the kitchen is easy to miss and could cause a fall. The host not bothering to reply to a text I sent shortly after arrival, or an e mail sent when we left with a few suggestions for small improvements. Only after a request for her to do so 5 days later did she send a brief acknowledgement.

Nice place

Really great place - liked it a lot. Clean, plenty of on-street parking, having 2 bathrooms is great.

We didn't realise that the key box and entrance are down the passageway and round the back next to the back door. Spent some time trying to figure out how to get in the front door, and not helped by the fact that there is a redundant key-box attached to the front wall. The bed I slept in was very soft.

A comfortable and cosy stay with only a couple of small issues.

Another good stay at this appartment. The problems we had previously with the showers were fixed. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and convenient. We will stay again.

The fridge was very wet from the freezer compartment and kept falling forwards when opening the door. Kept having to connect tvs to internet, may have been due to very stormy weather as usually ok.

Clean and tidy, and 2 bathrooms makes it ideal for friends with different needs

This property is perfect for our specific needs as we are two friends with very different time patterns, so having a bathroom each is ideal, and being a proffesional photographer my friend has a lot of equipment so the living quarters are good for him to spread out in. It is also conveniently easy to park, directly outside the apartment. The apartment itself is clean and tidy and well set out and the bed and bedding in the e-suit is really comfortable. There is a convenience shop just a mintue down the road and a chippy practically next door, so everything is at hand. I've already been in touch with Abbie the owner and she agrees to get the exterier lighting issue sorted, so if next time we come these little niggles are ironed out then a higher score :) We will be booking again for the next event.

No outside lighting to see to activate key safe and dark alley on approach. No washing up sponge. Shower knobs in en-suit a bit of a puzzle and water doesnt get very hot. 3 little remote control units that I suspect are for the coloured lighting but dont actaully do anything. And could do with a little dressing table of some sort.

The apartment itself is lovely. Clean and bright. It was perfect for my friend and I who were not that familiar with each other and sharing for the first time. The fact that we had a bathroom each was ideal. The bed and the pillows were really comfty. There is a big TV in each bedroom and also in the lounge/kitchenette Location is really good with easy parking, a convenience store just across the road and a chippy practically next door. It's a straight road into town just 10 minute walk. Its everything you need for a weekend stay.

There is no lighting down the alleyway on approach to the door and you have to get the key from a safe. Not easy when fingers are frozen in ice cold weather and too dark to see. There is just the one key so we decided it was easier to take it with us and find each other to hand it over rather than grapple with the combination in the cold and dark each time. My en-suit shower didn't work properly, I couldn't adjust the temperature or get the water to flow out of the smaller head. My friend however had no problem with his shower down stairs. There was no tea towel, and the bathroom towel hooks were just stubs in the wall so the towels just kept falling off them! If these few issues were sorted then it would be spot on!

Superb

Really nice and comfortable and a 10/15 minute walk into town, handy for events in the showground. Easy parking and fairly quiet, we enjoyed our stay thanks 😊

The accommodation was decorated to a good standard. It was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, showers great, as were the kitchen facilities.

The bathroom taps were plumbed opposite to the tap markings.
