Great stay close to town centre easy to park

Fantastic location. Parked right outside. Apartment was spotless and lots of handy take out menus in the drawer if you arrive late and need to eat. We ate from the Chinese and highly recommend was delivered within 20 minutes. Little coop 2 minute walk away if you forget anything. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again.

Nice clean and bright convenient weekend accommodation

I stay in one of these appartments on a regular basis, theye are conveninet for me, open and spacious, clean and tidy. With the added benefit of free parking permit to park right outside. Co-op store just up the road, and the best chippy too! I have already booked my next stay in another one, they are perfectly pleasant for a weekend break.

The towel rail didn't work on this occasion. Host not particularly communicative. I do give feedback but never get a reply. I think it would be a nice gesture if there was tea and coffee provided, I always seem to forget to bring it or run out (there is brown sauce and ketchup) I know she has a lot of these appartments so I guess it may be too much to cover. The mirror is a bit awkward as you can't stand back to see yourself properly, its right at the end of the bed, though appreciate limited space. No wardrobe or unit just a hanging rail, but perfectly adequate.

A convenient, well looked after and comfortable place to stay for both short and long trips

Location was convenient and easy to find. It was very clean and really felt like a small home away from home

There was a strange smell I couldn’t put my finger on coming from the bathroom. I think it was the radiator. But it wasn’t bad enough to effect a score and I got used to it

Bed wasn’t for us, very springy and soft. Everything was a budget finish but for the price it is what you expect.

Needs a proper clean, we won’t be back

Basic but with most things you would need

Location - very downtrodden properties in the street with loud, boy racer type cars coming regularly revving their engines very loudly then going and coming back repeatedly. The bedding was very old, bobbly and didn’t look like it had been washed. The mattress and duvet were obviously very old and worn too. We didn’t want to use the bed and although we were booked for 2 nights we only stayed one and left late on the second night to drive home. We were in town for a wedding and I stayed sober all day so we didn’t have to sleep there again. We preferred to drive the 3 hours home instead. The glasses were covered in greasy finger marks and didn’t look like they’d been washed. The cups were badly stained inside with tea and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly in a long time. We made the mistake of lifting the sofa cushions and found loads of crumbs etc under them. Never been cleaned. There was also a pubic hair in the shower tray when we first arrived before we’d used the shower so obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the last guests.

Comfortable and modern interior

The property had a modern interior and was very clean. The bath towels were big and fluffy ! It was in a good location 5 mins from centre of town 10 mins from station. There was a good Co-op a few mins away and a fish and chip shop 5 mins walk away.

We were disappointed that there was no welcome pack eg teabags, coffee water etc as we have experienced in similar apartments . There was a mixture of single glasses ie only one wine glass , However as we visit family nearby annually, we would rebook this apartment in future

Absolutely loved it. The owners are lovely and very attentive. Perfect place, near town centre walk away from shops and restaurants. I would love to book in the future as my stay was so relaxing. Hassle free 😊 ✨️ 5*

Not worth the money but a good location if you need to go a wedding at Stubton hall but not worth the money.

The location was very good.

Shower is tiny. I’m 6’2 and could barely move plus the shower head kept dropping down. Beds uncomfortable and cheap. Iron was dirty and ruined my expensive shirt I had for a wedding. Luckily enough we were near next and I could buy another one but not happy my white short was ruined and I had to buy a new one.

Looks nice, but does ware well.

The location is perfect, on the surface it's clean and homely.

The bed is extremely uncomfortable, the shower needs a really good deep clean, and pressure is dreadful, you can't watch anything on the tv as the signal goes every couple of minutes, apartment fo 2, 1 wine glass, 3 pint glasses, 1 cereal bowl. Coat hooks on doors would be useful.

Easy to access. Apartment was clean. Very good value for money. We travelled here for an event and had a busy weekend so it was important I was well rested. The bed in the apartment was very comfortable and I slept very well.

Lock to the apartment could do with being replaced. Apart from that had a pleasant stay.

The proximity to the centre and all the attractions we wanted to be part of

The area was depressing, the apartment was dirty, we couldn't open the bedroom window because of the stench coming from all the rubbish left outside the window. The toaster was dirty/rusty, we had to wash cups and plates before we used them, there was dust in the extractor fan etc.

Overall a very pleasant stay, which could be repeated.

The apartment was close to the town centre so only a 10 minute walk to a good selection of places to eat. Very good value. The facilities were fine and allowed us to have cook breakfast before our days out. Abbie gave us clear instructions of how to enter the apartment, also leaving us parking permit. We would certainly book again if my comments about the bedroom blind were carried out.

We were disappointed that Abbie had not taken on board previous feedback comments about the blind in the bedroom. It needs to be replaced, as it does not function properly and is useless at keeping out early morning light. I had to sleep with a scarf over my eyes! On a lesser note it was also covered in dust.

Good location. 10 minute walk to centre of town but cental location didn't make it noisy which was a pleasant surprise. Parking provided. Had all you needed. Bed super comfy.

Location was definitely advantageous for walking into town. Key lockbox was a bit awkward to get into. Apartment was really cold and a long time to get any heat into it. Really cold returning in the evening as didn't want to leave heating on when we were out. Meant we had to use bedding to keep warm in living room

Check out at 10am was a little early. The shower is not very powerful but overall, I would definitely stay again.

Newark weekend

Excellent location good value for money only few complaints which would be easily rectified otherwise great weekend would stay again.

Kitchen needs glasses plates cups and cutlery replaced nothing matched, also pots were very cheap and nasty. Not expensive to replace. Bedroom ceiling covered in cobwebs which would only take minutes to dust!!! Bed too soft!!
