Well presented, cosy, clean comfortable flat close to main town.

Great location, well presented, extremely clean, clear instructions to gain entry, homely.

Ceiling noise from flat above, door banging when main entry door opens (ok when you get used to it), low (but comfy) bed.

Good, provided what was needed for a short stay.

Comfortable bed, all clean, quiet property, access to tv channels, close to town centre shops, good and roomy shower, modern facilities and decor, good tap water, good heating.

Traffic noise. I thought the windows must be open because it sounded so close, clear, and unmuffled, but the windows were actually closed. Settee hard and bit uncomfortable, with a dip on one side.

Dirty and un-sleepable bed!

I like the size and design of the appartment

The cleanliness was appalling. Greasy finger marks all over kitchen area. Dust. Dead skin and toe nails all over the sofa and pouffe. Unable to sleep in the bed as the mattress was so poor. When contacted the owner just stated she would feed it on. No offer to get the apartment cleaned. Despite a note saying "thanks for supporting my local business" no offer to rectify the situation or good will gesture. Felt like my issues just fell on deaf ears. AVOID!

Dirty, disappointing, but decent enough

The location was great. As I have previously lived in Newark before (but closer to Farndon side), I found these apartments to be situated perfectly to the centre of the town centre. I like how internet was included with the cost of the room. However, sometimes connection issues did occur, making it difficult to enjoy streaming services when winding down. The size of the apartment felt very homely with all facilities a guest would need.

The cleanliness of the apartment overall was very disappointing. Upon arrival the floors had clearly not been swept or mopped prior to my arrival, despite the fact I did not check in until 5pm (giving plenty of time to prepare for following guests). The fridge had the remains of something that had clearly leaked on all of the shelves, and did not smell particularly fresh. The oven looked to be greasy on the inside, including the oven tray, and was not used by myself during my stay due to this. Simple wiping down of work surfaces seemed to be problematic as remains of toast were found under and behind the toaster, and remains of food were left on the plate of the microwave. The couch was full of stains, and was not very comfortable. These issues may seem a little trivial and somewhat minor. However, when a room is described as newly renovated, I expected a little better.

Clean and a good location.

The check out time. 10am is a ridiculous time. We use accommodation with booking.com on a regular basis and this is the first time we have ever had to check out at 10am. Normally it is 11am. So that is a downside for us and for that reason would not stay there again.

Surprisingly cosy, warm and organized flat

Very cosy, sqeaky clean and we'll located. Everything new and shining. Well organized and even had some coffee, tea and sugar. Bedding was clean and smelt good. Adequate space for up to 3 people. Especially appreciate the free permit parking as almost spaces were taken. I was able to park closer to the flat on the second night. I could even use own Netflix accounnt on the large new TV to watch a movie before bed. Recommended highly !!

The bathroom towel-rack was not working making it a really cold space for this month, but perhaps a temporary problem.

Convenient location

Great location, lovely living area. Well decorated and lots of thought about details such as welcome pack etc. Easy to find and good parking with permit. Good value for money.

The bed was quite low which made it a bit tricky to get in and out of and was quite soft. The shower thermostat didn’t seem to work properly. We had the windows open as it was hot (lovely sash windows) but did then have quite a bit of loud noise from Friday/Saturday night people out and about.... not the fault of the apartment!
