Hector greeted us on arrival. He's a lovely friendly guy and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was perfect, had everything you could need and breakfast supplies were plentiful! Excellent comfy bed too.

A lovely welcoming room and generously equipped.

The room was very inviting and welcoming - plenty of space for things, comfortable and super clean. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows etc. so easy to sleep. The bathroom was lovely, too - the shower is fab, good power and easy to clean with a screen cleaner available. What surprised me was all the food provided - there was a little kitchen area for use between both rooms which was very well stocked and updated throughout the stay. I was especially impressed by the little fridge built into the wall in the room - this was unexpected and gratefully received, so we could keep drinks and things cool. Some sandwich fillings, cereals, bread, butter, fruit and snacks were provided too, which was very kind. It was good to have fresh carafes of water provided, too, as the sink inside the bathroom was only small and not for drinking-water. I was really impressed with the bean-to-cup coffee machine in the room, too - this is always good news for a coffee addict away from home! The room was lovely and I would stay again. Thank you!

Unfortunately there were no plasters in the first aid kit, so if these could be topped up for future visitors that would be great. As mentioned above, the sink in the bathroom is a little small, which can't be helped, but the hot tap gets extremely hot so had to be careful when washing hands, plates, cutlery etc.

Comfortable bed. The breakfast was good you could take it anytime, no separate breakfast room you take what is available outside your room to your room. Some items in your room inside a fridge. The surrounding environment pleasant about fifteen minutes walk to Portree.

Well located if you come by bus. Disappointed about lack of contact with the owners.

We had to do our own breakfast, which was part of the deal. However, although the supply was extensive, we could not do much with it as there was not enough space to prepare or eat. We had to have breakfast in our very small bedroom.

A few minutes after our arrival, we needed help with the WiFi on our tablet but we never managed to contact the owner. Never saw anyone during the whole of our stay.

Comfy room with lovely en-suite and easy walk into Portree. Very generous food and drinks offerings. Such a great idea as saves shopping and wasting food at the end of your stay. Easy parking too.

Quaint little spot for 2 in Portree

It is an upstairs room in his house with its own bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. (The strawberry yogurt and fresh bananas was divine) It’s a small room but absolutely perfect for the wife and I. The host was very responsive and helpful with any info needed. We had a great stay.

Steep climbs but worth it - beautiful, quiet location. Our best accommodation in Scotland

Our room was in the attic of a typical Scottish Highland cottage (but recently built) on the outskirts of Portree - we looked out over farmland. We were thrilled to be in more traditional accommodation. Everything was extremely well set up. The room was not overlarge but had a great bathroom, a comfy bed and an amazing little fold out table which revealed shelves with all our crockery, cutlery etc. Ingenious!! We didnt think breakfast was included. we were pleasantly surprised! It wasnt served to us like in a B&B but ALL the possible food we could ever need for breakfast was supplied. We had a fridge in our room and outside our room was a little shared kitchen area with toaster, another fridge and microwave. Hector, our host, was very friendly and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.

On arriving in Portree we set out to walk to our accommodation thinking it wouldnt be far. After pulling our suitcases up two fairly steep hills on gravel 'footpaths' we were exhausted by the time we reached Tor's Place. Then we had a steep flight of stairs up to our room. Being Seniors, we found doing this each day was a bit of a struggle, even minus the cases. But once we reached our room and caught our breath we were glad we had chosen this place. After 4 days we were almost getting used to the climb and going IN to town was all downhill!

The room is exactly as described. The owner is very friendly and informative. The room is small but very efficiently organised. The table, dishes and cutlery appear out of nowhere - well designed foldable table. Breakfast items provided too. If we ever come back we would stay here again

Tiny hot room - we were lucky that we only had to spend the nights here

we were lucky to have portree as our starting point for our Skye vacation. Parking space was good. We could also sit outside in the small garden.

We were greeted on arrival by our host, given all necessary information in regards to our stay. Very happy with our room, it was small but practical and had everything we needed including an ensuite. The room was lovely and bright with plenty of ventilation. Breakfast items, tea, coffee, biscuits, bread, meats and yoghurt all supplied. Car parking was provided and it was a 15 minute walk into Portree. Location was really good. Definitely recommend. Lovely hosts.

Great value, great location and lovely hosts.

The location was perfect for us, and even though we didn't request breakfast there was a large continental selection available daily. The host Hector was lovely and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. Great value.

The room was a little small but was fine for us as we were out all day from morning until night and just needed somewhere comfortable to sleep, shower and store our belongings.

What a great place to explore Skye from and come back to at the end of a long day! Perfect location, only 10min walk to local pubs and shops. The host was super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home. The room has clever features making our stay extra comfortable, like a mini fridge in the room and the little folding table to have breakfast on, which was kindly provided and very much appreciated! Thank you so much for everything, we had the best time and are hoping to come back soon!

The service was exceptional and the room has been setup so well that everything you could possibly need is there. We had not booked breakfast with our stay but they provided a great spread anyway. Also, Hector was helpful and a pleasure to speak to Hector.

The room and the bathroom were a little small. But the only real actionable suggestion is that the bathroom could use one more shelf. Otherwise everything was great.
