Nice place to stay

I had a nice stay in this property with a spacious bed, TV and kettle. As I did not plan on cooking, I did not take up the offer of kitchen use for a little extra payment. The bathroom and room were clean and I slept well. Check in was straightforward and the host was very friendly and helpful. The property was close to public transport with shop and restaurants in the area as well. Value for money was great and I would stay here again.

Nice and memorable stay in Cologne

We arrived by car a little bit earlier than the check in time but the landlady is kind and willing meet us earlier. She also carefully explains to us about the facilities both inside and around the apartment. We had an enjoyable stay in Cologne.

The apartment is a little bit far away from down town Cologne and a bit walking to public transportation. Parking our rented car is also challenging but possible after several rounds in the neighbourhood.

A cozy and peaceful stay

The location is very nice and quiet, close to the river with amazing view clean air and the beds where comfortable. The apartment was clean and smelled good. There is a train station near by that will take you to cologne hbf. The host was a very pleasant person with very positive energy.

It was a little cramped, we where 3 people and it felt just right. The apartment is small, make sure to bring your own shampoo. The air conditioning costs money so take it into consideration.

It was nice stay at Cologne. If I will have possibility to stay here again, I really would like to!

1) The location was very quiet and nice; almost near the Leverkusen Mitte bus station; 2) Room and bathroom were very clean and tidy; 3) You can drink tap water :D 4) I was able to do early check out, just leaving keys; 5) There was a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine in the room (everything except the kettle was for extra pay, but maybe it is nice to have choice); 6) Bed linen and towels were provided, thank you; 7) Lidl was in 10 minutes walking; 8) Ms. Claudia was very friendly and helpful; 9) It was easy to find the place because of the house sign; 10) Ms. Claudia gave me Wi Fi access as a gift ❤️❤️❤️

1) Not really flexible check-in (I could make it at 20:00 without extra pay, but I was really nervous because my bus was a little bit late and I was afraid that I'll be late too :(((( 2) In my humble opinion, some things could be included into the whole price (for example, everybody today uses Wi-Fi and fridge) :D but that's okay, the Host has its own right to create rules. 3) One day I was getting back to my room late at night and I was nervous about not destroying everybody's sleep because of the old stairs that were loud :D but that's fine, I would not touch those stairs too, this is almost a historical item already :)

Great stay, lovely host and thoroughly enjoyed it all

The hotel is in a quiet, residential part of the city at the end of the tram line. You can get a tram into the centre within 5-10 mins or its a 5-10 min tax ride from the centre. The room was lovely and fine for our needs and the bed and bedding was sooooo comfy. The host was really nice and friendly and overall we had a great stay. Great price too.

Nothing. We had a shared bathroom but there were not issues with sharing it and we were right opposite so it felt like ours anyway.

Check in / check out were simple and fast.

I was asked to pay 25 euros for late check in as we got there between 9 and 10, which is possible to select when booking. This fee is not mentioned in the description. We also did not receive any invoice for the amount payed. Moreover, the lady said the heating is turned off because it's warm enough. If we would have had this information before booking we would have chosen a different accomodation.

The mattress was firm and comfortable

The room was cramped with.unmatching furniture. The owner blocked hot water in the basin. The owner removed the hob in kitchen area and left it unfinished. No Internet service. The bedsheet had grease marks. I had to leave this accommodation due to poor standard and owner refused to offer me a refund for the nights I didn't stay.

Nice place not so far from the center for reasonable price

Even if the room can host three people, I had it just for myself and price was still OK, even comparable with big dormitiries in the city. Also they arranged early check-in so I could leave my luggage. It is clean. Don't expect luxury, the point is to get a room for a reasonable price... The connection with the city center is regular and fast. Direct U-bahn line or buses... the only problem I see is public transport during the night on workdays ...

It is a little bit funny to pay small amount for an internet access ...Haven't happend to me for ages. :) But OK, it is a house policy. Didn't bother me so much :)
