Good stop for a journey

Clean room, modern. Good parking space as well. 20 min walk to the commuter rail station and another 20 min on the train into cologne central. Perfect for a day trip.

A bit misleading of a property

The apartment has undergone renovations and some design choices made were good. Decent for a one night stay to crash.

We had a hard time contacting the owner to get entry (they had placed the wrong keys in the wrong box for our collection). We had to wait around for their friend to come down and get us into the apartment. The friend seemed nice but we had been waiting a bit and were already a little agitated. The apartment itself at first glance looks good but a lot of shortcuts were quickly obvious on the renovations. Flooring was coming up in many places, the shower was not properly equipped to prevent water from splashing out, doors had water damage, and details in the construction were overlooked which gave a sloppy appearance. Lastly, the owner after our visit asked me to not leave a review if I had a bad experience. I'm a frequent traveler and a host myself and would never want to be tricked into staying at a place that didn't get honest reviews. They even specifically asked us to not mention the location since they could not change it. While the area and building were not great that doesn't mean it shouldn't be represented in the listing. Please refrain from such misleading and poor practices towards guests. If it affects your business then it's justified; customers should not be misled.

Relaxed and enjoyable stay

We had a really nice stay here for 2 nights with a couple of friends. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It has a small kitchen, which is a big plus. With a small stove, fridge, and coffee machine. It's a really good location, there is a grocery store at walking distance and some restaurants, and the center of Cologne is just a 20 min drive away. We were able to check in and check out on our own without disturbing the owners, which we really liked. Despite that the owners answered our messages quickly whenever we needed something, and were very helpful. Overall it was very enjoyable and great value for your money!

Place was clean and tidy.

Apartment is very basic. Kitchen is not well equipped for self catering. Minimal cutlery and crockery - you can’t really cook. dishwasher stopped working. They could do with new bedding and proper pillows. Room was cold and heating wasn’t on.

Quite convenient location, comfortable bed, overall nice view of the room. The presence of a kitchen, mini-bar (chargeable), fresh bed linen.

The room was poorly cleaned. The kitchen was not cleaned at all, although it was written on the door that each tenant should clean up after himself, however, all the appliances were dirty, there was an unpleasant smell, there was a dirty kitchen towel (which was later replaced by the owners). The sink in the shower was not fully washed. There was rubbish on the floor. The fridge did not work well, so all the drinks in the minibar were warm. No curtains on windows.

Check-in procedure was very bad and long. Apartment was very dirty , there was not bed linen and bed was very bad. After my check-out at 11:00 am in apartment entered another guest and they did not clean it after me. Also the door opener was broked and I slept all night in open apartment. I will never recomend to anyone to stay in this apartment. You should improve all your services.

Great for an overnight stop

Superb communication before, during and after the visit. The apartment had everything we needed, and was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The apartment is in a residential apartment block, and was tricky to fing as we arrived late in the evening.

I was wonder to find kitchen in my room. It is really cool thing when you come or stay in the evening or Sunday and all cafes and shops are closed, but you are hungry, that thing can help :)

There is no problems with a hotel, becouse it has even nice quit place on the edge of the city. There are 2 S-Bahn near, The obly problem to Cologne`s S-Bahn it almost not workss, and you have to find another ways to reach the destination. You can use buses but there is no direct bus.

Perfect location, close to Manfort Bahnhof and many supermarkets. The apartment itself is spacious, much better than a regular hotel room.

Internet connection is a little bit slow, so it might be a little bit annoying if you need to work online. Window curtains can also be better.

Ruhig trotz Hochhauslage, alles im Appartement hat bestens funktioniert.

Den angebotenen Toaster habe ich nicht gesehen und eine normale Gabel auch nicht entdeckt, aber das ist kein wirkliches Problem.

Die Unterkunft war eine Katastrophe. Man kommt rein und der Boden wackelt bei jedem Schritt. Die Wände sind gelb. Die Duschkabine war halb offen vlt. Auch kaputt, da man nicht duschen konnte ohne das Wasser raustritt. Offene Dusche top. An manchen Stellen sah es wie Schimmel aus. Ich kann nur vor dieser Unterkunft abraten. Jeder Cent ist hier zu viel. Anstatt sich auszuruhen, hab ich 400km Rückreise in Kauf genommen um nicht in dieser Unterkunft zu Übernachten.

Der Kontakt verläuft sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Der Türcode wurde per E-Mail vorher gesendet - alles Weitere ist genau wie beschrieben. Die Einrichtung ist auf mittlerem Standard, aber sauber! Man kann sich sogar selbst versorgen, da eine Kochnische und ein normaler Kühlschrank vorhanden sind. Das Beste: Verbrauch aus dem Kühlschrank läuft auf Vertrauensbasis! Wo gibt es denn heutzutage noch sowas?

Das WC saß richtig tief... das ist für lange Menschen unbequem. Aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gibt es Wichtigeres!

Enttäuscht

Einfacher und kontaktloser Check-In / Out, keine Schlüssselbox, sondern mit Türcode Jalousien leichtgängig Bushaltestelle 6 Min entfernt - Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, kann man u.a. über Leverkusen-Mitte erreichen Wasserkocher hat funktioniert Breites Treppenhaus Dreifach Licht, hell, heimelig und Spot am Bett Genug Steckdosen - allerdings nicht für sehr kurze Kabel Fußbodenheizung Zwei große Fenster Saubere Toilette

Kein gehobener Standard, so wie es in der Beschreibung stand. Die Schränke waren aus einfachem Sperrholz, teils mit Schrauben sichtbar verkantet, teils fehlte schon die Verblendung. Kabel beim Badspiegel nicht eingelassen. Vorhänge teils unten beschädigt. Ein Nachttisch schief in der Wand verankert, PVC-Boden o.ä. Sehr dreckiges Gemüsebrettchen. Die Wände an der Kochplatte waren stellenweise dreckig. Schon länger benutzter Schwamm zum Abwaschen. Dreckige Schublade. Sehr dreckige Klobürste. Staubecken. Boden im Bad wabbelig - evtl wegen Fußbodenheizung Dusche dreiviertel mit Glaswand und dann eine Öffnung ohne Vorhang. Der Duschkopf war nur in einer Position fixierbar, nicht höhenverstellbar. Endreinigung der Miniküche 20 Euro, falls nicht sauber hinterlassen. Kein Termin zur Abnahme, nichts davon in der Beschreibung. Stockiger Geruch beim Betreten wahrgenommen. Keine Schere, kein Brotmesser. In der Beschreibung stand sinngemäß etwas von: viel gereist, wir wissen worauf es ankommt. Das kam mir nicht so vor. Minibar war überwiegend mit alkoholischen Getränken bestückt und der halbe Kühlschrank damit voll, , unangenehm. Kühlschrank hatte eine stehend feuchte Stelle, so dass ich meine Sachen dort nicht reinstellen mochte. Duschmatte wurde sehr rutschig Spät am Abend dumpfe Musik, keine Schallisolierung
