InTown - 60 second walk 2 Minster!

Good central location, clean. Good communication with host

Excellent location just a short walk from York Minster. The room was a good size for a short stay and self check-in was straightforward. Overall, it offered good value for money.

Communication could be improved. During the heatwave I asked in the evening whether a fan was available, as the room became extremely warm, but I didn’t receive a proper response until the following morning. While I understand that not every property provides fans, a quicker reply would have been appreciated, especially during very hot weather. I also received checkout instructions a day early despite my booking being until the following day, which caused unnecessary confusion. The room was generally clean but not spotless, and keeping the window open for ventilation reduced privacy as it overlooked the courtyard.

Short walk to city centre, bed was very comfortable, basic accommodation but clean

The only down side was traffic noise but it is in city centre so was expecting that, i used earplugs at bedtime and it was fine

The location was excellent for sight seeing, eating and shopping. Parking was located to the rear of the property in Bootham Row with a 2 minute walk to the property. Coffee and tea facilities in room where good with extra available if required.

Due to the hot weather,window had to be open and the traffic noise was horrendous throughout the night and revellers wandering home after a night out. Parking although convenient was astronomical in price. We paid £85 for 2 days. The TV only had BBC channels to watch, not good 😐. Thought should be given to providing shampoo along with shower gel and hand wash.
