Overall very positive. One practical problem was that there was no way to access the river path on that side of the river, due to flood gates everywhere (signs say do not open!). Only way to avoid a large diversion if on foot is to go through the York Museum Gardens, which is fine, but the gates here close at 6pm, so if you are out in the evening, a long walk awaits you.

The property was clean and easy to locate. Best one if you are travelling from Train. Martyn is so sweet and knowledgeable about the locations in York.
The only drawback there is that they are only providing rooms. If they do breakfast as well, it will become a popular spot.
