Wonderfull small place , nice staff, good breakfast but we had trouble with the showers

The staff were so lovely and helpful. The location is perfect. It's in a quiet, safe residential street, but only a 10 min walk to the station or the centre of town. Breakfast was great. Room and bed were very comfortable.
My only suggestion would be having breakfast available a bit earlier. Doesn't start until 8am, which is a bit late if you have a day trip planned.

The guest house was clean and welcoming. The young girl that checked us in was very helpful and informative. We had three good nights sleep and enjoyed our breakfast on each morning with friendly staff. The location was great for access to city centre with a lovely riverside walk and easy to walk from train station. We thought it offered excellent value.
Only comment that shower cubicle had quite a raised metal seal

I had room 3 which was downstairs, on arriving the lady was lovely welcoming and friendly but did advise me that we had a small room which didn’t faze us but the bed wasn’t great it definitely wasn’t a double I’d say more of a small double the mattress wasn’t comfortable at all and the duvet was also too small for 2 grown people.
