NO CAR PARK LETS IT DOWN BUT GREAT OTHER THAN THAT

I previously stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and had no issues, but it seems to have gone majorly downhill since then. I paid *** for a triple room, as we were working on an event and needed somewhere close to the venue, with on-site parking. Turns out the on-site parking is a lie - it's an NPC car park. My partner didn't feel happy about leaving the car there overnight with all the equipment in it, so he had to drive home. When we got to the room, the beds had hairs all over them, even under the duvet. We asked to move to another room as it clearly hadn't been cleaned, but the other room was the same, with an added pubic hair on the pillow! Luckily the third room was clean, but my friend couldn't sleep on the sofa bed as it was so uncomfortable and was hurting her back. She went to reception at 4am and told them about it and they said she could sleep in another room but only until 8am(?!). I complained to the manager at check out and she refused even a partial refund because "the staff went above and beyond" by moving us to . She tried to argue that the reason my friend couldn't sleep on the bed was because she has a back problem (she doesn't). Overall, an awful experience, we got barely any sleep and felt ripped off for the price we paid. Unfortunately it was late at night when we arrived, otherwise I would not have stayed there after the parking issue and state of the rooms. The only helpful staff member was Josh who did kindly help us to move rooms at least.

Firstly staff isn't friendly, got our bags mixed up when we checked in to get our tags while waiting for our rooms to be ready. Based on the situation, we got wheelchair accessibible room, which is awful, the shower pressure is so low. It's awful, even for free breakfast, the selection was limited, and doesnt taste good t all.
