    We have stayed in many different hotels before. This is the first time we have booked the Hampton Hotel in York. We felt very satisfied with it. The room and bathroom are relatively clean; the bed is comfortable. In particular, they provide Twinings Everyday tea in the room. This is very different from other brand hotels, which usually provide cheap PG Tips tea. Breakfast is included in the price and was also good. It included a basic all-day breakfast that included scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, tomato or mushroom, hash brown. I did love the tasty fresh yogurt with berries, fresh sourdough bread, little cakes, croissants, etc. In particular, you could make your own waffle with a machine. They also provided various types of Twinings tea and coffee. The staff was also professional and nice. I contacted them before our arrival to request a room on a higher floor and also to inform them that we would arrive earlier than check-in time. They replied within 10 min after I sent out the email. Once we arrived at the hotel at 1:00 pm, our room was ready for us to check in. I really appreciate the service there. I highly recommend this hotel to other people.

    Hampton by Hilton is a great property to stay in York as it is located walking distance to station and tourist attractions . Staff was extremely efficient and went extra Mike to make your stay comfortable

    Nice room. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent enough. Plenty of choice and was freshly cooked. The hotel was clean throughout. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would have been good to have a mini fridge in the room

    Firstly staff isn't friendly, got our bags mixed up when we checked in to get our tags while waiting for our rooms to be ready. Based on the situation, we got wheelchair accessibible room, which is awful, the shower pressure is so low. It's awful, even for free breakfast, the selection was limited, and doesnt taste good t all.
