Owner was lovely and helpful. He and his wife made a fabulous full English breakfast every morning.
We had had an issue with the shower's hot water, but the owner came and sorted it as soon as he could. Very responsive.
Room was adorable and suited a couple nights away perfectly.
Can't really say anything bad about the stay.

Super welcoming and friendly host. Very good breakfast. Quiet location with easy parking. Not too long walk from the centre of York.

The staff were very nice and accommodating, the breakfast was ok , it was an ideal location to walk to the centre alonh the River .
The room we were given, really needed updating and extremely small ,we felt very claustrophobic, the en-suite was very small and the shower pressure was extremely poor , the wash basin was in the room not in the en-suite which was very difficult to do personal care in one place , when you have 2 people sharing . For the cost of the room / breakfast we expected more , than being put up 4 flights of stairs in an Attic,,we booked well in advance of our stay to be put in the Attic exhausting. The host was really lovely but our stay very disappointing
