It was centrally located being only a 10 minute walk from the centre but it was a quiet residential street. A couple of minor issues with the room were sorted promptly and without fuss.
Although it was out of their control and we were aware beforehand, the lack of cooked breakfast was a little disappointing.

Very comfortable rooms, very clean and items replenished each day. Very good central location for York.
No cooked breakfast, but this was due to their cooker being broken and waiting for a replacement part. A good continental breakfast was provided, maybe with some cold meats and cheeses as an alternative.

The location was good and the property was clean.
They promised a fantastic breakfast, but unfortunately, it was very average. Their oven was also broken, so they couldn’t provide a cooked breakfast, meaning we had to go out and pay for breakfast elsewhere.
The soundproofing was another issue. Noise travelled very easily between rooms, and we could hear the person next door snoring at night. The bed was also quite uncomfortable and didn’t agree with my back.
Overall, unfortunately, the stay didn’t live up to our expectations.
