A great place for solo travellers, with a very safe and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable. Having access to the shared kitchen was a nice bonus, although I didn't get to use it much since I was out exploring all day. I stayed in the attic room, and because I visited during the heatwave that swept across Europe, it got quite hot. The skylight and fan weren't enough to cool the room, but I don't think this would be an issue under normal weather conditions. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spotless. I also really appreciated having a kettle and complimentary coffee in the room—it made my mornings much easier.
The only downsides were that my room didn't have a regular window, so I couldn't enjoy the city view, and slippers weren't provided.

No breakfast was available
I had to pay the car parking fee when I arrived in cash. The landlord said that was how he always operated, but I had already paid for this when I booked. I expect a refund from Booking.com but this has not been forthcoming yet.
