We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. Mick, the host, and Ruth, who worked there, were really lovely. Both were very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. We had a home cooked breakfast (and a chat) each morning and nothing was too much trouble. The guest house was very clean and comfortable, in such a good quiet location with parking. We really couldn’t find any faults. If we visit York again, we will definitely be staying go here.

the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice available . The location of the guest house was perfect for walking in to the centre of York .
i cannot complain about anything . The Hosts were very attentive and were happy to help with any questions about visiting landmarks or places to go for food .

Exceptional quality all the way around. The breakfast was top notch and the innkeepers outstanding.He spent a good deal of time helping us on our plans for the day on the way to Arram. We did what he suggested and found farm stands along the way and really enjoyed visiting Beverly.
