There is a supermarket and a famous bakery nearby, just within 3-5 mins of walk. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and spacious for 2 adults. Would be ideal if more toiletries like tissue paper, bedroom slippers, etc, can be provided to guests.

There were definitely great elements of our stay here. Having free laundry access because we were staying for 7 days was fantastic! However, there were some elements that weren't great. The space was very cramped for two people to share, and there was very little storage space for our clothes. Really just a closet and two shelves. The towels were pretty scratchy, and there was insufficient storage in the bathroom as well. When you flush the toilet, the sink pressure drops noticeably so it's a bit difficult to wash your hands after. The thermostat befuddled us for several days; we were always too cold or too hot. But eventually we figured out how to set a temperature and put the system on Auto so it would alternate between heating and cooling on its own. But the kitchen amenities were great! We made great use of the microwave oven, fridge, kettle, and kitchen storage space, and it helped us save quite a bit on eating out. The location was also wonderful, very close to the River Liffey, as well as close to lots of bus stops and the train station. It was an easy 10-15min walk to various points of interest, including O'Connell St, Trinity College, St. Stephen's Green, Grafton St, George St. Arcade, and Temple Bar. The staff were always very friendly and helpful! Even when we accidentally started a load of wash without putting the soap in. Overall, it was a great stay, and we got used to the annoying bits (lack of storage, uncomfortable towels, very confusing thermostat) within a few days and it was smooth sailing from there!

Chose the Hotel based on the location. Checked in and given room 315. Upon opening the curtains discovered a train line approx 20mtrs from the Window. The windows weren't soundproof, so it mattered, as every time a train passed the room vibrated and there was a noise. Trains ran from 06:30 to midnight, I discovered the next day. I actually broached the front desk Nitisha and her colleague who advised they had no other high floor rooms to change to and to give the room a try. The following morning I spoke Lukaz the Duty Mgr who upgraded us into a quieter room, not near the train track. The Hotels rooms you want to avoid would be any of the 4 floors ending 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17. There maybe a couple more to avoid if you don't want to be disturbed by a train every 5-10mins. Good location, if you get allocated a quiter room.
