    Location is very good/ near shops and opposite the train station. Good value for someone who needs location above all. Breakfast area is basebent style and bit suffocating also breakfast is basic. Rooms need a renovation in general.

    We only stayed here for a night and I want to start by saying the location is great, especially because we came from a long train ride. The area right outside the hotel, while near the station, wasn’t great with lots of people loitering + crowds from the station. there are definitely much nicer areas to stay in since Florence is very walkable. The room itself (and the halls of the hotel) had a waxy smell, I’m guessing from the hotel’s age/furniture? Long story short, glad I only stayed for a night.

    We had a pleasant enough stay overall, but I have to admit that our room was somewhat underwhelming. We booked a SMART Room, and while we certainly weren’t expecting five-star amenities, there were a few details that I feel could have been better. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable odor in the room when we arrived, and it remained throughout our stay. The lighting was also quite limited, and we would have appreciated a full-length mirror and a basic iron, especially for a longer stay. One small detail that stood out was finding a room freshener left behind the pillows by the cleaning staff. I’m sure it was simply an oversight, but it did feel a little unusual and could have been handled more carefully. I think this property could be a reasonable option for a short one- or two-night stay, particularly if you’re primarily looking for a convenient place to stay. However, for a longer visit, the lack of certain basic amenities and the overall room experience may be worth considering when making your choice.
