Everything was perfect. We were welcomed by Mateo and Christian who were incredibly kind and offered us a free room upgrade! The rest of the staff has also been very kind. The room is great, the bar is very pleasant and the breakfast was perfect. Everything was delicious and there was a lot of variety. Regarding location it’s right next to the tram that comes from the airport and the train station, but a short ten minute walk from city centre.

A very pleasant surprise. We didn’t have high expectations and ended up enjoying it very much. Daniel was extremely friendly, helpful, and kind, and he gave us great recommendations throughout our stay. If you are traveling with a car, please note that parking costs about €30 per day (from what I remember). We highly recommend this hotel and have already recommended it to other people.

Excellent stay with attentive staff!

The hotel is ideally located near the train station. Our room was clean and comfortable. Most of all the staff were superb. Many thanks to Ambra, Mateo and Esmeralda. Because of them our stay was over-the-top pleasant and memorable.

Good location, walking distance to all major attractions, comfortable bed, good breakfast, helpful staff

Room was a bit small but OK for one, it was expensive but Florence is very costly, there was some drainage issue in shower, it was a bit dark, unfortunately the bar didn't open but there was a welcoming sister hotel just around the corner.

My husband and I stayed at Joy Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The rooms were kept clean, neat, and sanitized. Decor was modern. The lounge area has a contemporary edge, with coffee and treats for guests. The location was perfect because it was close to the train station, the core of Florence, and it was easy to navigate by walking. Despite being close to the station, we didn’t experience any issues with sound. The bus stop at the front is busy; however, front desk have a great monitoring and security system, and we didn’t have any worries about safety.

With respect to rooms, our only difficulty was the size of the bathroom. However, the photos show them exactly as they are, so customers can decide if they’re willing to accept that limitation.

Location was great as it was close to the train station and easy to walk to with luggage. Close walking distance to many tourist sites, restaurants and shopping. The concierge were very helpful calling us taxis and giving other advice. Breakfast at an additional cost was a good value, tasty and a nice selection.

Absolutely perfect. The room was comfortable, air-conditioned, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious as well :) Most importantly, the location couldn't have been better, quite literally across from the station and just a 15-minute walk to the city center and most major sights. “Joy” creating for an exhausted solo traveler! Thank you!

It was, indeed, “joy” creating and fantastic after nearly 20 hours of traveling that day solo,3 countries within the week, and being displaced, treated like crap by some airlines and other hotels. The staff member when I arrived late night-I think named Michael (might be mistaken in my sleep deprivation) was extremely kind. This place had a shower so wonderful that I would say it was in the top 3 of hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was large and very nice compared to many at the same rate. Highly recommend!

Nice spacious family suit and hotel is central, accessible from main station and to the city center. Very friendly staff, at the reception Alessio, Alexandra, Christian and Oshini with welcoming smile every morning at breakfast.

Clean and orderly hotel

Overall, the hotel is very clean. From lobby, elevator, hallways and room, all are clean and orderly. The hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful as well. Location-wise, it's across the street from the train station so ideal if you have large luggage. Carrefour Express is also conveniently near by as well. This is ideal to get water.

I didn't like the bathroom and housekeeping. On the first night, I found out that the shower head in the bathtub wasn't working. The water only came out of the tub spout. I had to notify the hotel staff the next day to have it fixed. The use of space in the bathroom is absolutely horrific. First of all, there is absolutely no countertop space in the bathroom. The design is pretty bad in my opinion. There is no space to put clothing when showering. It's a daily struggle on how to manage showering in this bathroom. Some Japanese hotel bathroom has less space and yet they manage to create small countertop space Second thing I hated about the bathroom is the placement of the trash bin. I know this may sound stupid, but let me explain. For some reason, they decided to put the trash bin on a shelf under the sink. Under normal circumstances, it's not a big issue. But the problem is the trash bin has a lid that can only be opened by the foot pedal. There's no way to toss items into the bin without moving it from shelf to floor, see uploaded picture. Housekeeping moves the trash bin back under the sink every day. So I had to move it out every day after housekeeping is done. It's a huge daily hassle. Last thing is how housekeeping keep pushing the beds together. I intentionally split the 2 single beds apart to create a small gap. But housekeeping pushes it back together every day. So every day after housekeeping is finished, I had to split the beds. Again, it's a huge daily hassle. I expect housekeeping to realize the beds are intentionally split, so not move it every day.

Joy The hotel's proximity to the railway station solved the time problem.From check in to check out the front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming I was impressed with Mr Dariele and Mr Matteo. Mr D was very accommodating at check in and check out, we added some money to upgrade us to a larger room with a balcony and checked in early so we could rest early.Mr M made a very thoughtful greeting when we went to pick up our stowed luggage and was very polite and friendly.All in all a great experience!

The double bed was two single beds, with a split in the middle which you fall into. Not the most comfortable experience. Air conditioner was directly facing the head so you'll wake up with an extremely dry mouth/face. Not the most comfortable experience.

Clean, modern and plenty of amenities. The hotel was tastefully decorated. Location of hotel very close to train station and 10-15 mins walk to the centre of the city.

Toilet lacked ventilation, air conditioner was centrally controlled so difficult to cool the room. The hotel is next to a busy road so can be very noisy with windows open.
