Excellent hotel in a perfect quiet location near the station and historic center

This is a very good hotel, conveniently located just a few blocks from the train station. We arrived by train and were able to check in almost immediately, which was very comfortable. The historic city center is only about one and a half blocks away, yet the street where the hotel is located is quiet, with no tourist crowds or noise. The hotel is very clean, the staff is excellent, and we truly liked everything about our stay. We absolutely recommend this place. We would also like to especially highlight the rooftop terrace, it was simply wonderful, with a beautiful view. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening if you feel tired of cafés and restaurants.

Comfortable safe stay near Firenze train station

Just a few minutes from the main train station, the hotel is in a good location with eateries nearby and the main sights about 15min - 25 min walk. After being buzzed in, the reception on the 3rd floor provided a warm, safe and friendly welcome from Sana. The hotel and its rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and modern, with a roof terrace for all to enjoy. Nice views of Florence from the top. The staff are multilingual and most helpful. The continental breakfast buffet has something for everyone.

The property is beyond what we expected. It was charming, clean and the beds are very comfy. The staff are so friendly and nice and they let us store our luggage in the morning we checked out so we can still tour Florence before our flight in the evening. The staff was also prompt in responding to our inquiries via email.

Convenient location & Beautiful terrace view

Fantastic Location. Walking distance from Train station. It has option of late check in till 11 pm which was really nice as we travelled from Venice by evening train.Staff was really helpful & kind. Terrace was cosy with a beautiful view of Duomo. Loved the hotel.

Big money for small space!

The location is good, close to the train station. The breakfast was also good, and the staff lovely.

Our room was small, ridiculously small. We were constantly hitting our head on the tv, and my elbow on the wall. The WiFi was very, very weak in the room, if you got it. We weren’t the only ones complaining either. For these reasons, l wouldn’t consider staying there again. Maybe they have bigger rooms and we were just unlucky.

It’s a short walk to the train station

To start with the entrance wasn’t appealing and the elevator to the reception and rooms was so old that we were hoping that it wouldn’t break down half way up. The rooms looked like a dungeon with the bed attached to the wall with hardly any space to move and it did not match the photos on the website. They must have been photoshopped or taken years ago. The shower water went from hot to cold and hot again with the very old wall hair dryer blowing cold air. Not good enough for the price paid.

Well situated hotel to visit Florence on an interrailing holiday

My family had a lovely, but brief, stay at Hotel Annabella Roof Terrace as part of an interrailing holiday. Finding a place that could accommodate a family of five for one night in a single room was great. The staff were really helpful, both while we weren’t arranging our visit and when we were there. We knew we would arrive at Firenze S.M.N. just before lunch and the hotel was happy for us to drop off your bags early so that we could enjoy our visit to Florence without having to carry them around, indeed when we arrived our room was actually ready for us which was a nice surprise. The hotel was ideally located for the train station, while the heart of Florence itself was a 10-15 minute walk. The terrace at the hotel also provides a lovely view of the city. The staff were also really helpful on the morning we left - we had an early train to catch. Which meant we had to leave before breakfast was served. The hotel staff prepared a takeaway breakfast for us to enjoy on our departing train journey. Overall, a really good experience.

The streets immediately surrounding the hotel were fine during the day time, but felt like they might not be so pleasant late at night, although we weren’t out too late.

2 day stay at rooftop Annabella

The roof top was a lovely addition. We are a family of 5 and all slept comfortably in the same room. The croissants, or cornetto's at breakfast were absolutely delicious!

Sometimes it smelled a bit of sewer but in a big city like Florence, that smell is never far away. Not that much space at breakfast.

We ( 4 adults ) stayed at Annabella roof terrace for 2 nights in July 2025. The place was clean , comfortable and close to everything ! Loved the elaborate breakfast spread - Eggs, cereal, pastries, fruit and so much more !

The location is very close to the train station. The hotel staff is friendly and provides all the information about the city. The breakfast is also good, and the room is clean and smells nice. I had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

The building's facilities are very old, typical of Europe. There is an elevator where you have to close the doors manually, and depending on how you close them, it can stop midway. At first, I was scared and there was no one to help me with my luggage or to explain how the elevator worked, but after a while, I got used to it and everything was fine.
