Charming, cozy, top notch experience.

Cute location, room clean and very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and accommodating: Ermal, Arber and Kathalyn. Location of the hotel was very convenient as everything was very walking distance. Breakfast was exceptional! room was always clean when we came back from our day out.

The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be kind. The room and beds were comfortable if small. It was close to the main train station in Florence which was great. The rooftop area was lovely for lounging. Breakfast was much better than expected.

Not sure I knew the property was three floors from street level. We stayed mid October. Temperature was 26 in Florence. Was told we could not have AC. The unit in our room didn’t work for heating or cooling (or even a fan) and even after going to the front desk about it nothing was done. We slept with the open window and were awakened by construction before 6:00 am.

Super location with the comfiest bed I’ve stayed in!

The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was great. The breakfast was good too (not my preference to have desserts at breakfast but eggs and bacon and toast was lovely). A good selection of drinks and yoghurts, included continental breakfast too of meats and cheeses.

This was the fault of guests but the lift needed the doors shutting to be able to call it. If guests didn’t shut the doors, you’d have to climb the stairs to get to the hotel (3 floors). It’s not a terrible thing as it isn’t the hotel’s fault, more the guest’s.

Gem in the City

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The rooftop terrace was very peaceful and great for morning coffee. Definitely a great place to stay!!!

A 12 minute walk from the Duomo. Breakfast was OK.

It is a rundown facility overall and needs renovation. The facility is on the 3rd Floor and the elevator is not reliable. WiFi in our room was bad. Bathroom was old and not well kept. Staff was very polite but really were unable to help resolve the problems.

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 3-Star Hotel This place is advertised as a 3-star hotel, but it felt much more like a hostel. We stayed here yesterday and were very disappointed. The photos online look far better than reality. The place was not well maintained at all. The finishings were poor: a loose toilet seat, a broken sink, and a cold shower with no proper temperature control. Even the clothes hangers were from Primark – that says enough about the attention to detail. We spoke to the staff about these issues, but nothing was done, not even a price adjustment. This is not a real hotel and certainly not up to 3-star standards. Would not recommend staying here.

Staff was trying their best to make our stay wonderful. Location is the best: 5 min walk from the train station. Close to major touristic spots. Great view from the terrace of roof top. Breakfast is good quality with variety of food.

Very disappointed. Not clean, thin walls and felt like a hostel not a hotel

Very disappointed many things with this property. We were given room 2 which is next to the kitchen and luggage store. The walls were so thin that we felt like we were laying in the eating area. All night we had people in and out of the store outside our room and it made for a really difficult stay. The location is good for being super close to the train station but unfortunately the people hanging around at night in the street were less than desirable, especially if you’re with kids. The room had ants throughout (coming in through front door) and the general cleanliness was terrible (our socks were black within seconds). The breakfast was ok but the area is so mall that you can’t sit down at a busy time. Overall this felt like a hostel not a hotel

Location - very near to the station and easy to find.

The bathroom was very smelly despite use of fragrances, the room was so crampy that any movement was hardly possible.. tea kettle was present but no socket. Had to move the kettle around to find socket. Breakfast was nice. But overall experience was not good and would prefer some other hotel if i visit Florence the next time.

The only pro was a good location

Great location

Very limited breakfast options. Tiny rooms. The owners agreed to an external party on the roof terrace. It was very noisy with loud music, people singing and dancing literally banging on our ceiling (our room was on top floor) after midnight. I contacted the hotel both on the booking.com app as well as on the given emergency number but no one got back to me or say anything even at the check out. That was very disappointing.

A lovely hotel in a great location

An easy 5 min walk from the train station. This hotel is located on the 3rd floor of the building that they are located in. Very friendly staff who showed us around and only too happy to assist with any request. They also have a lovely rooftop terrace to sit and enjoy the view. Room was clean and beds comfortable. We were able to walk to all the attractions and felt comfortable and safe walking the city day or night.

The only downside is our room was right near the breakfast station. You could here the set up and early risers each morning.

The Elevator just goes to lobby level, for the the rooms on higher levels you have to use stairs. It’s not negative point, but good to know if you are not well with walking or you have a baby buggy like us.

Clean property

Had to carry luggage from ground floor to elevator floor. Once you get out of the elevator, again had to carry luggage upstairs to the hotel room. Air conditioning didn’t work one afternoon-evening. It was very hot that day. I was getting ill due the to heat in the hotel room. Brought this issue to the reception desk. After resetting the remote he left. There is NO phone in the hotel room so I went down to the reception to complain again that air conditioning stopped working. The desk attendant said “ what am I supposed to do. It is Sunday and there is no electrician available.” I have requested to change the room. Attendant said that there is no room available. My husband said to get us fans then. There was none available. Later he figured that bracket was tripped and he fixed the is issue.

Exceptional

Location is near the train station and the market square. All within walking distance Breakfast selection was very good. We kept our luggage there after checking out in the morning. Rooftop open area is a bonus for fresh air and view of city (limited). Overall, highly recommended

A value for money stay

Convenient Location across from the Train Station. The room was quite spacious and recently renovated. Beds were a little hard and some of the people in the group had difficulty sleeping but overall it was a pleasant stay and value for money. Breakfast is very basic but you can get by with it.

Coffee was undrinkable and breakfast could have been a little better.

A "gem" of a little hotel!

Wonderful staff! So kind and helpful. I really cannot emphasize this one enough -- the gentleman at the front desk was absolutely lovely and both the woman who ran breakfast and the woman who cleaned the rooms were so nice! We were able to check in a bit early because our room was ready. We were able to leave our bags when we checked out since our train was later. The hotel has an excellent varied breakfast and plenty of tables. Nicely decorated rooms and comfortable beds. Everything feels new and updated. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good wifi and air conditioning The roof terrace was a bonus. Good location--5 minute walk to station and within 15 minute walk of almost every attraction in the city. Putting everything else aside, the combination of staff, breakfast and location make it easy to recommend this hotel.

The only negative was the size of the room and bathroom. Both were quite tight for 4 people. The beds were well laid out and a good closet area provided, but once 4 suitcases and backpacks were in there, there wasn't much room to move around. Same with the bathroom. With this said, for a 2 night stay we were comfortable enough, especially considering all the positives. (We were also spending more time in the room than we otherwise would have because of the extreme heat in the city during our stay.)

I really recommend this hotel, the staff very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and nice, the breakfast very good.

The only thing that I would improve is that in the bathroom there is no place to put the soap in the shower or on the sink. I think that they can solve that by placing a shelf because it have the space to do it. Everything else excellent.
