Loved that it was so far out Staff were lovely Good walk to diamond beach Right next door to little convenience store and restaurants in walking distance. Cute little rooms If u want secluded jungle vibes this is it Awesome to see the restaurant the owner is building And a little shop on site for clothes and bit n pieces was quite cute and very reasonably priced. Shower had great pressure but just not very warm. And the wifi was down unsure if it was because of the massive storm the day before or what. Owner let me take his motorbike to explore it was awesome fun.

The pool was covered in banana palms, he told me why but I can't remember and it was full of the noisiest frogs that made so much noise all night I suppose you'd expect that in the jungle, and they were neat to hear for the first little while but I got over the noise pretty quickly.

It was close to diamond beach, food was good.

Really dirty rooms, stained sheets, stained towels. Dead bugs everywhere and it sounded like a zoo, not a sound sleep at all. The staff weren’t really friendly.

Nice cottages. The staff was really friendly and it was a nice place to stay. There was a lot of nature around and a lot of nice restaurants. Very close to Diamond and Atuh Beach. Owner offered many trips on the island and we had a nice time snorkelling with manta's

It was a bit far from literally all other nice spots of the island which means that you do have to get transport/ a tour everytime you want to go somewhere. AC was not facing the bed, so the cottage stayed quite warm at night.

The bungalow style houses look nice, the AC is a must there.

A great place to visit, and exceptional value, but there are drawbacks.

This hotel is in a lovely part of Nusa Penida, at the quieter, Eastern end. It’s surrounded by greenery, and I really enjoyed my stay there.

One drawback is that most tourist activities take place at the western end of the island; travel is slow on the narrow, bumpy roads. A hired scooter would be ideal, but I have never ridden one, and am rather old to start now. Also, I had contacted the hotel to arrange a transfer from the ferry port to the hotel, and they said that was fine, but there was no one when I arrived on the island, so I had to get an expensive taxi.

Exceptional

The thing is that you have everything you need in one place (cottage, restaurant, coffee shop, groceries shop, souvenirs shop) is amazing. Nice little 12 minutes walk to the Diamond beach view point ant another 10-12 minutes to go down to the beach. Friendly staff helped us with transfer and ferry.

You can go there for one day to see diamond beach but not longer;)

Accommodation was near diamond beach which was nice. And the look of it was very beautiful!

The staff was very uninterested. It was also a bit dirty and there were ants in our room/bed… And yes there is wifi but it nearly never worked.

Pleasant

The property was close to the main viewpoint which is what we wanted. The site around the bungalows was picturesque and there were a few restaurants nearby which were all reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The site around the bungalows was very noisy and there was no soundproofing so it pretty much felt as though we were sleeping outside. We found ants in the bed and the bedding wasn’t particularly clean.

we can hear every outside noise, no isolation ! incuding the music and staff which are both pretty loud! when I mentionned this problem to the staff which is already aware they refused to change my room so not a good place to rest

The worst cleaning we have ever seen. Everything was so dirty, it was not comfortable. Pillows smelled used and had stains eveywhere. Stains all over bed sheet as well. When we checked in it was an animal poop on the bathroom floor. No soap in the shower, or hand towels When we came back from sightseeing day 2 they had not cleaned the room and it was an animal poop in our bed!!! Discusting

The staff was very helpful. The place is nice.

It was falsely marked in booking.com to be on the beach. In reality: it is in the village above the beach ~15 away from the entrance of the beach, from where steep stairs take down to the beach. It is not accessible for small children, elderly or disabled. An added bonus is the entry fee for the beach. :( Climbing back from the beach to the cottage takes about a 30 min steep hike.

Laid back cottage with Diamond Beach walking distance.

Perfect location for Diamond beach. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and very laid back feel. Local restaurants are within walking distance including a small shop and the one only Diamond Beach. This is the closest cottage destination to the beach. Staff also helped us to rent a motorbike and transfer to our next destination. Overall excellent.

Next to Diamond Beach, friendly staff but inactive area

The bungalows are nice, although we missed the pool being open (it was closed due to low activity during covid reopening phase). The cottage looked better in the photos, but we acknowledge we were the first international tourists to spend a night there post-covid (April 2022). This was compensated with great staff service. The breakfast was really good, included in the price. We liked the seating outdoor area, where we spent some time playing games and chatting with our friends in a relaxed environment. The location is great, just 200m away from Diamond Beach (and Atuh beach), one of the most breathtaking beaches in Nusa Penida. We recommend to wake up early to see the sunrise from there (Rp10,000 to access the beach) and trek down to the beach to take a swim (it is a challenging path, be prepared to sweat, but it is doable and the views from the beach are amazing). Before Covid, the area was more vivid. There is a grocery store just next to the hotel, which is quite convenient. There are some restaurants around (a few meters away) that serve Indonesian food, and also Western food, but during our stay we were the only guests around.

I wish the pool had been open and the area would have been more crowded. We felt quite lonely some times, as we prefer more active places. We found ourselves with nothing to do at 6.30pm when the sun set, so it was a long evening for us. We believe this will change in the future when more tourists arrive in the island. It takes 1h ride from the pier (West coast) to the hotel (East coast).

Outstanding place - staff, location, value for money.

Everything was great - staff, location, clean rooms, comfortable bed, local area and people were great. Good breakfast (but only the omelette - no sides or fruits). But great value for money. There was construction going on but it didn't matter (as they are building more villas) as it wasn't loud.

Staff should put comfortable chairs at each villa ? But again, great value for money.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy too. There aren’t many places to stay close to Atuh beach so this was a good option for us.

We were under the impression it was very close to the beach but it was a 5 minute bike ride. Not bad but good thing we had a bike. They had a really bad issue with flies when we were there but that can be a common issue. Perhaps a garbage issue. Don’t know.

Wonderful time

Awesome experience, very close to diamond Beach, staff was very helpful and provide us everything we need. We asked for sambhal and they provided us, they changed our room when requested . Transfers was on time, no delay at all Got a bike from them to travel nearby which was very helpful Food was perfect and yumm Always smiling people 😊😍❤️ Happily stayed

The cottage is about 15 minuts walking from the top of atuh beach, keep in mind that you need 10 additional minuts to hike down to the beach. The room is big and clean, but you can hear everything around you. I had hot shower the first day, but not the second one. (water was still decent temperature, not ice cold). Anyway, overall a good place to sleep, if you don't have soft sleep.
