Great location for getting the bus into Edinburgh. Lovely area with local shops and food. Great parking.
Mattress in front bedroom wasn’t too comfy, could benefit from a mattress topper. Bathroom smelt damp. Would still stay again!

Location and layout was great for the family. Good facilities within the accommodation. Parking outside the property was good.
Cleanliness could have been better. A used vape was found under one of the beds. There was also drain cleaner fluid in the tv unit which is a slight concern with small children staying. The oven fan seemed broken/making a loud noise when in use

The apartment is beautiful, much more updated than the images shown. We struggled to find it but the gentleman in Canny Man's took us right up to the front door. Great location and fabulous food and drinks in Canny Man's, highly recommend.
There could have been washing up liquid and tea towels for the kitchen.

This was a great apartment. It was well equipped and had everything we needed.
Although it was not right in the centre, it was an easy walk to most attractions

Location good , beds , bathroom, and toiletries
Parking very tight , no dining table , kitchen badly equipped for 4 people , not even oven gloves or tea towels to dry up or take hot food from oven . Had to use bath towels

It is modern design.
Missing a lot of kitchen utensils like a cloth, sponge, paper towel, the coffee machine was dirty, the apartment floor not very clean, no instructions how to use the heating and water system. There is no free parking at the street and if you park at the restaurant you need to leave the key with them.

Clean, spacious apartment, friendly staff, close to lots of shops and cafes and on the bus route into Edinburgh. No outside noise so I got a good night's sleep. Free car parking
The bathroom could do with an extractor fan and it was a bit stuffy in the bedroom as you can't open the window

Location was brilliant
There were 2 bedrooms, only 1 had a wardrobe. So no place for the other 2 in our group to hang up any clothes. The tv in the lounge was tiny. The photos of the apartment , showed a tv that was built into the end of one of the beds, there was no tv. It had been taken out. The other bedroom had a wall bracket, for a tv , but no tv. The internal bathroom had no extractor fan. So when you had a shower, everything got steamed up. So you couldn't see yourself in the mirror. The bedroom we were in, had a foam mattress. Which i personally hate. Paying over £300 per night. I certainly would have expected a decent sprung mattress. There was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. So we went and bought toilet rim blocks and some bleach. The problem was then solved. Apart from the toilet smell. The apartment was spotless.

Location , size , parking and value for money
The mattresses were quite uncomfortable, and several other guests have pointed this out in their reviews. Additionally, the room lacked a fan, which made it even less pleasant

Very well done, with modern fixtures apartment.
The mattress on the master bedroom was a nightmare. Too soft, I’d wake up every morning in a V shape with my rear end at the bottom of the V. The kitchen has no natural light, and the faucet doesn’t work well.

Quiet and clean. We had the apartment with two bedrooms and kitchen, and had a nice time.
The mattress was too soft and the duvet had seen better days..

It was ideal after being out all day exploring central to everything
Only a very minor the beds wern’t that comfy but that’s because we have very hard mattresses

The property was quiet. Spotless bedding with comfortable beds. Staff that we saw very friendly. Lovely food in the pub. Very convenient M&S food store very near as is the bus stop directly to the center £2.20. Unless very fit the walk into the center is a good 45 minutes up a very busy street.
It was very dark, no view other than a carpark and flats opposite. The bathroom had a very bad smell. Very limited crockery and small welcome pack containing, some tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar, milk and butter. No washing up bowl or plug for the sink.
The apartment was basically clean but the furniture needs dusting under, bedside tables and tv stand. There was no air conditioning and as an older property the windows were unable to open.

Very good apartment, helpful staff, free parking available. Next to a fantastic pub where you can get excellent breakfast ( buffet/cooked). Less than 5 minutes walking to shops/coffee shops/ transports.

Beautiful apartment - really clean and decorated to a high standard throughout. Perfect for our trip to Edinburgh with our two small children. Ideal location for jumping on the bus into Edinburgh Centre (20 min bus ride with a bus every 10 mins). Staff in the Canny Man extremely helpful, and owners contactable by phone / text for any additional information.
There was no tv in the double bedroom - not really an issue, as there is a TV in the lounge (the children slept in the other bedroom right off the lounge and were a bit excitable to be staying somewhere new, so we just would have preferred being able to watch TV in bedroom). Other than that, couldn’t fault it!

The area is great. Morningside is lovely, the apartment is quiet and it is near bus routes to various parts of the city. It was well heated and there was plenty of hot water.
There are so many small things that would make this property truly outstanding. Issues for us were:
1. Uncomfortable beds. Main bed is king size and SO soft. The twin beds are not full size singles.
2. Kitchen cupboards were pretty grubby inside
3. Dishwasher drives you mad as the connecting hose between the two levels keeps popping off.
4. Shower is lovely, but no shower caddy meaning nowhere to put anything
5. Rug in lounge is VERY slippery
6. No coffee table in lounge
7. No instructions or welcome booklet
Such a pity as basically a good apartment. I would stay there again but only if there was no other option. It is a very expensive nightly rate, but I don’t feel you get the luxury that comes with that price tag(no Tv in bedroom, photos on website are old be aware and breakfast is NOT available!). Just little things, but you feel a bit let down for the money. Have stayed in a LOT places (even in London) which are much more luxurious for half the price.

Great location if using as a base to travel outside Edinburgh by car. Bit out of the way if wishing to visit Edinburgh centre sites but taxis / uber are easy and inexpensive so wasn't a major issue. Just planned our day in Edinburgh as one trip in and one trip out.
Nothing.

Lovely apartment with it's own parking, which is definitely a bonus in the city of Edinburgh.
Apartment is part of a business that includes a boutique hotel and a pub, all in the same street. This means that there is always someone available to help with a query.

The minute all of us walked into the apartment, the "so lovely", "oohh: & "waahh" can be heard from everyone. The Best was the TV (although a bit small) it's a smart TV & we could watch Netflix.
No comments on this as everyone love the apartment.

allocated parking, quiet environment, clean, nice rooms, comfy bed.
only one toilet, kitchen door unable to lock, there was a tree light near TV that one leaf kept scratching and fell down, the coffee capture doesn't fit the machine, toaster not working

Lovely apartment, warm and decorated with a nice touch. We loved the wooden floor and high sealing. It is close to the city centre and allows you to explore the city on foot while enjoying a nice walk. There are plenty of places to eat around and the hotel has a nice own bar.
It was a bit of a challenge checking out as the bar (which is also the reception) was not open early in the morning. The owner was very friendly and found a quick solution.

Great locations with all you need in the community. Just 15mins bus or 30mins walk from Princes Street. The room was exactly as shown. Clean and Spotless. Parking space availble right outside the apartment. Kitchen was well equiped. Questions were responded quickly. We did have a great stay there.
The bed were a bit too soft for us.

Location is good. Host is nice.
No phone line in the bedroom. at first when we arrived, no wifi, try to talk to 1 staff at the bar, but no one come in to fix the internet. Next day when we text the host, they came and fixed the internet.

Location was nice and the staff as well
the beds are a nightmare. In the room with the 2 separate beds you could feel the springs in the matras. Change these matrasses please! The matras on the kingsize bed was to soft, also like quicksand.. There where also to many scentmaskers which didn’t smell good.

A quiet but very convenient location. Free parking spot. A modern conversion of an older property with comfy beds. On ground floor.
Minimal supplies were given for a week’s stay but when we asked they supplied more toilet roll and coffee pods.
