Edinburgh Morningside 2-Bedroom Apartment - Ground Floor

The location was fantastic. There was a bus stop (no.23 bus) right outside the apartment taking you straight to the city centre. The beds looked new and were very comfortable. Despite being on the ground floor the apartment was very quiet and we only heard a bit of noise on the first night from another flat. The flat was also very clean which was appreciated :). The host left us a pint of milk, fresh coffee and some fruit which was really nice!

The pillows in the smaller bedroom were soft and very lumpy. We couldn't get the TV to work even though the hosts were very helpful in trying to rectify the problem. Simple step-by-step instructions in the welcome folder would be really useful :). More utensils (corkscrew, bottle opener etc) in the kitchen would be appreciated. We also felt that another armchair or small sofa was needed as the only seating in the living room was a sofa bed seating a maximum of 3 people.

The apartment has everything you might need, the basic’s utensils in the kitchen and exceptionally comfortable beds. There was a welcome basket with fruits and shortbread, even coffee and milk in the fridge. Very cosy and warm. The location is quiet even though some of the windows are in the front of the building, facing the street. There is a bus stop at the door (you take the 23 and go straight to the city centre). There is a road about 5 minutes walking with pubs, restaurants, shops and bus stop as well.

Just as an improvement idea, I missed a coat hanger.
